Dyche has been garbage before yesterday. His refusal to drop Keane almost doomed us. He only dropped him because everyone was on his back. He persisted with long balls to Maupay for weeks who would have to be playing against Mini-me to win a header. Hardly ever makes subs even if we're stinking the joint out. He kept playing centre backs at right back with Patterson available. Finally plays Mina, finally plays Patterson, oh look we do better. Yesterday was incredible, but lets see how he does next 3 games before proclaiming him the messiah.

Totally agree with you mate. I understand having passion but that Steve is embarrassing making out Dyche is Gods Gift, we need a better manager along with some better players. Don't get me wrong lads were terrific to a man tonight but once in a blue moon just does not cut it.

Dyche was guilty of Everton being in the bottom three. Yerry Mina was fit yet he kept playing his ex Burnley players, because they were with him at Burnley - uh!. Keane is a decent back but makes far too many catastrophic mistakes, but was preferred over Yerry Mina who was match fit. Calvert-Lewin comes back with Jerry Mina in the same team - both out all season because of injuries. This is like spending £100 million on two new player who instantly knit into the squad. Mina and Calvert-Lewin were the key to destroying Brighton - and it was a destruction, no luck at all - every time they went forward you sensed they could score, when Brighton went forward you sensed Mina in defence could stop them.

Yes your right but Mina and DCL combined cost us 19m DCL was 2m from SUFC and Mina 17m from Barca. There both huge players but very injury prone .

I doubt it there's not many Scousers in the kop these days.

The effort thats been put in recently had to pay off at some time. The timing and against that opposition was unreal. They seem to have more fight in them than those around them. Next season, as you would expect them to survive now, they must stay out of the relegation fight as it will get you in the end.

As an Evertonian, can you get a less embarrassing Evertonian on next time?

I've been going to goodison since 1969 and the greatest Everton shame is that we employed this relic.... there's a reason why every single club he's managed at have had the fans boycotting games to get rid of him. With the possible exception of Bolton but their owner blamed Allardyce for the club going bankrupt. He is a dinosaur.....i had to watch the desperately awful team he produced at Everton....yes I'm aware he wasnt there long but he did sign Europes top striker (tocsun) and turned him into a player who scored LESS than 2 goals a YEAR. Everton were never in trouble that season we had an idiotic owner who even thought Benitez was a good signing for Everton.....that shows the owners knowledge right there.

Everton ain't safe yet. Need results going there way and another win

We're unbeaten in 3 straight away games after only 1 away win all season before last night. Plus we've scored 9 in them last 3 away games after being the lowest scoring team in the country all season. So we have improved lately now we finally have a CF on the pitch after he's been out for 25 games and Demari Gray a LW was our striker for months. After being very limited for months with team selection it's nice were finally at full strength when needed and it's showing, not a coincidence.
