Wow, that's a large crowd. The energy must have been unreal.

In this concert, Dimash set a record for the highest note ever sung during a live performance. It is his now-famous D8. He did this in front of approximately 150,000 fans in attendance. The song, “Unforgettable Day”, is a song Dimash wrote himself. During the performance, he made certain to erases any doubt that this was indeed anything other than a true live performance. Dimash not only hit a D8; he did a glissando and held it for ~5 seconds, even adding vibrato to it. The Guinness Book of Records lists the highest note ever produced by a male as an E8. That was done in a studio, where the singer was just trying to hit the note. He held the note briefly after a proper warm-up and several attempts. Dimash has sung many whistle notes in the 7th & 8th octave in other live performances, but the above is his highest note to date. Because of his incredible range, over six octaves, and his vocal flexibility, he is able to make the impossible look easy. Dimash is not only considered by many to be the best singer in the world, but he is truly on another level. His voice seems limitless, and no matter how many performances of his you watch he will always surprise you with something new. Dimash is also a genuinely good person with a beautiful soul. Dimash and his father quietly donated all the profits from the 2017 concert to a local Hospital and an Old Age People's Home. Dimash has also donated over 5 tons of food to people in need during the Coronavirus Pandemic without any fanfare. It is only when the media gets a hold of the story that Dimash is forced into the spotlight.

Dimash needs our help! The song he submitted to MTV's youtube channel for its Friday livestream shows has been voted up to #2 by viewers for the past three weeks in a row. We can help get him to #1 if we tune into the livestream when it is playing in each of our time zones (5-8pm New York time, Fridays only) and type the words REQUEST DIMASH as many times as possible in the chat next to the video stream. Dolphins understand. That D-8 is a world record with vibrato. He started voice at 5 and has worked tirelessly since. He describes his singing as a sport with extreme training. The only thing that exceeds his ability is his love for family and his DEARS as his fans are called. That and being a wonderful humanitarian and Ambassador for gis homeland. Kazakstan

This is my absolute fovorite of him , probably because I was at this great concert in Almaty Sep 2017 150.000 people there about 6 hour concert , Dimash was the final act - about 30 min. - this is only one song of his performance .... For 5 seconds and with vibrato! Highest note sung by a human in a live performance. Dimash says his range varies day by day. In a lab setting a chinese singer hit E8, but that was very thin.

Georgia brown actually hit the highest note, well its more of a frequency a D10, that she went up in stages to reach but for only 0.1,tenth of a second, Dimash hit the D8 for 6 seconds so officially dimash has held the longest high note! Of any male or female, singer, "kool"
