@@sabina1118 I'd love it if you could react to Juan Gabriel's "Querida" from 1984. You'll know you've got the right video when he's in a big red sweater with lots of candles all over. You're absolutely right, his music is an experience, and the same goes for his videos. Each is unique, especially live, but they are also often different. He is a legend, an icon, an idol, he sold more than 100 million albums, made more than 5000 shows, his prime was in that show in Bellas Artes in 1990, but he was a monster in the 70's and 80's.

I’m not familiar with this singer. Looked him up..sad to see he died in 2016. The emotion he injected into this song was reminiscent of the heart and soul that Dimash pulls off so well in his performances. Although I’m a Nightwish fan, I’m open to all musical generes. A very enjoyable song.

You could try to hear more wonderful mexican singers... Jose Jose was one of the best as Juan Gabriel, singer from 70' to 90's. Between 40's and 60's some of the famous actors/singers were Miguel Aceves Mejía, Javier Solis and Pedro Infante... I hope you can enjoy mexican music and singers.

His story is so sad. He made a biopic series before he died. You should watch it and you will understand every lyrics he wrote for his songs. I cried like a baby

Antes de recomendar alguna cancion en español al menos coloquele los subtitulos en ingles para que entiendan. Ya que asi comprenderan la emocion. Que pasaria si te recomiendo que escuches una cancion antigua en koreano sin subtitulos en español no sentirias ninguna emocion

That was his lifetime celebration, and it was tremendous that it was in his best moment. That theater is like the cathedral of the arts in the whole country, you will visit that place when you go to Mexico City, it's in the middle of everything, gigantic and magnificent.

For someone who has been a fan of Juan Gabriel all her life, it's really exciting to see people that have never heard of him react to his music and his voice. Particularly if you're not Mexican, you get so used to being the only one who actually knows who he is and just what an amazing artist he was. This song is perhaps my favorite of all his songs (and if you do end up venturing further into his repertoire, you'll realize just what a huge thing that is since he was such a prolific songwriter) and has gotten me through a number of really rough moments in my life. Glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for the excellent commentary.

A true legend. En vivo Desde el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes is the álbum. Its non stop excellence. Would have been amazing to have been at the live show. I once had a chance to go to one of his shows with my parents, I was into rap/hip hop I thought it would be silly to go, even though I enjoyed his music when my parents played it. I truly regret not going! I have seen many reactions to this song, as I enjoy them. I could tell you, if you enjoy it not understanding the language, it’s 10 Times better understanding everything that’s said. Being bilingual in Spanish has open the doors two twice the music, movies, tv, vacation places, and friends. We are so close lo Latin America here in the states, It has so much to offer that many are missing out on. Thanks for the reaction! The text was truly a good way to go without interrupting the song.

He was indeed an Icon not just for Mexicans but people around the globe and not only was he singer but composed all of his songs. He was true talent and all feelings when he interpreted his songs.
