This song is really special. The member who sang the first verse of the dad part had not met his dad himself. The lyrics he sang probably hit hard to him "Dad, you remember me as a child, right? ..." It's like writing a kind of a love letter to his dad he never even met. The bittersweet sound of the music, the mixed emotions of sadness and happiness. Sad that they had a lot of things sacrificed just for us; but happy because you can finally return the favor. MAPA in english is a map, but it is also Ma and Pa (mom and dad) as the writer (Pablo)played with the words. At the same time, it is also mata (eyes) and feet (paa). Combine all these meanings together, you get the entire meaning of the song. Our mother and father are our eyes and feet, like a map, to guide us through life and show us a perspective of the world. It's really nice to hear a song about appreciating and loving your parents without even hearing the word love within the song. It's really relatable because i myself am not expressive. Masterpiece Indeed. SB19 is one of the few artist choose to write songs dedicated for their parents. Their very humble and they know where they came from. Their parents are one of their number one fan why they fighting for their dreams. Pablo said in one of their interview " they were inspired to write this song because there are times in their career that their are so busy and they don't have time to go home ang see their parents. Pablo ask each member how they feel that time. When they were living together they decided to write song for their parents to show that even though they are now successful but still their parents are the reason of their achievements. SB19 are really a great artist. They create music not just to show off or be popular but they create music to inspire and help their listener to express their unshared feeling through SB19 music.

According to the visual concept director, which is the youngest member, Justin, the sun and moon represents how a parents job is nonstop, 24/7. The Latarata part is the lullaby that Pablo's(the leader, writer and Co producer of the song) mother sing to him when he was young. But if you search the meaning of it, in some countries, they use this word as a way of saying goodbye or signing off.

I saw one comment from a spanish-speaking a'tin na ang La Tierra Tierra daw means "my world" and is a lullaby din in spanish. 😊 I hope this helps in giving meaning to the song.

The hardest part was given to josh, where we all know he don't even know his dad eversince. And ken as his father being his feet for he grew up only with his grandparents

This is a lullaby, a hymn normally our Mom makes everytime she puts us to sleep. Remember our [1]MaPa normally just utter any sound tucking us in. Our Map is our [1]MaPa in this Life journey. Both used and present on this song. This is a masterpiece written by Pablo in collaboration with the rest of SB19. The release of the magical song was intended between the mother’s day and father’s day since the song is for them. This is a love letter to our parents. For some if not most, we barely tell our parents how we feel inside. This masterpiece will help us do another move to tell them how much we value and love them. In the song, “we will never get lost because we have the Mapa (Map)”. The map represent our parents. The things they taught us, the sacrifices, the advice they give and hardships. We will never get lost so long as we have the Map (Map). The Map that we can bring anywhere we go. The map that contains all the leanings and guidance our [1]MaPa gave us.
