62 years huh....same here. And I grew up In the Philippines surrounded by this singer culture. A culture that says that aside from singing, boxing and a few other sports, a good way for a poor, young ,talented,,person to make a mark on society is by learning how to perform,at a very early age,joining, and aceing local singing competions. I have been in the business of audio/video recording in the Philippines, since the 80s ,I have recorded, must be, hundreds of talented Filipino artists in my studio...I have never recorded or even heard a Morrisette level talent. She compares very well even against such masters as Barbara Streisand or Minnie Riperton. Objectively, Morrisette is really one of the best, or the best I have ever heard. The kicker is...she is truly humble,and kind. I had a stroke last november 2020,and for a while ,as I lay in the icu my prognosis was not good. At that time, My daughter, who goes to the same church as mori and Dave...Favor Church. Recieved a short video of Mori praying for my recovery. I still have it. I know as long as Mori holds on to her faith..GOD will always hold on to Mori. Doesn't matter if she never gets a billion view KZread video. GOD looks after HIS own.

For me Faouzia is the best and Morissette is second but that's just my opinion. If you don't know who Faouzia is listen to "Tears Of Gold" stripped.

@@steveheckle8847 not really Faouzia's low notes are better as well was her tone. And most importantly her songwrighting she is far ahead of morissette when it comes to origional music. I love both of them but no one tops Faouzia not even Morissette. 🇨🇦🔥❤ I'm honestly not sure why you don't like Faouzia every mori fan I have ever seen love's Faouzia and say they are two of the best today, which is true.

Here is the Real Story of this Song This song is dedicated to her father whom she hasn’t spoken to for over a year. She tried and tried to communicate but still received no answer. The reason of the misunderstanding between two is because of her choice to be independent. As a father, it would be a very hard to have your daughter away from you. And maybe also because of his relationship with Dave (the one who worked the cinematography). As you can see on the MV, there were parts that she’s not wearing the shawl every time she shows emotions and that symbolizes as her being away from her father. Despite of her choices in life, she still loves her father. “I still love you🎶” (wearing the shawl again). PS. The shawl represents as her father by the way....Also Morissette and Dave Lamar (fiance) co-wrote this and Produced....Most of Video done by Dave

Absolutely 100% fact! That's one of the things I love about Mori because she sounds exactly the same as her in studio recordings and most often, she's better live !!
