As I wrote after watching the premiere, I can’t wait for her stripped version where the focus is on the emotions and her vocal ability. But this is still fabulous in spite of all the high production, because like you said her voice is so damn strong, and to me it comes through in spite of that heavy production here.

This is such a catchy tune. I still think songwriting is her greatest talent. And it’s a smart release. The timing, the social media, the arrangement and the video. She’s got a good team. This should appeal to the very important young fans, but the four characters show off four aspects : sweet, fun, badass, diva. Inviting wider acceptance. Most male reactors comment on the green dress in the goddess section. But all the outfits are conservative enough to appeal to wide audiences globally. The graphics reinforce that she is called Fo Zia. The 8 bit begs to be a ring tone. And the video game format is immediately interesting but can also be a base for marketing and merchandising. And it’s a good pop song. As you conveyed. #freebritney
