When I first watched this performance on live tv, I just knew in my soul I was witnessing greatness at its highest level. I had chills. It saddens me that no one really talked about this performance.

Yea they were talking more about the slap than anything else in the award ceremony which is sad, that was a weak slap anyway

Aside from the amazing vocal ability Bey has, we should talk about how amazing the whole production is! Like she could´ve got on that oscar stage and just sing but she didn´t. She went the extra mile (like always) to reference the movie. Performing in this tennis court in Compton where Venus and Serena Williams used to play at when they were kids, the iconic Serena braids, the whole set in that tenis ball color. Who else is doing that?.

No one. The only other ones I could seeing it are Chloe and Halle (since they actually have a tennis court and perform on it), and mostly because they're Beyoncé's protégés.

u want to hear 15 minutes of pure VOCAL GOLD? watch her WYNN Las Vegas medley of sweet dreams/dangerously in love. she had laryngitis and could barely talk and that was the best vocal showcase I have ever heard. Only true vocalists/musicians can appreciate that kind of complexity.
