jungkook is what i call the full package when it comes to singing. he is no doubt the main vocalist of bts and he is our pride. incredible range, agility, stability, voice color, perfect pitch, lower and higher notes, clarity and most importantly he hardly slips up, almost never makes any mistake when it comes to singing, very knowledgable, and on top of all he sings anywhere anytime whenever he wants, especially acapella. he even has taught the other members with their vocals during rehearsals, sings the guides and does most of the harmonisations. he is known for his vocals he is truly incredible

Jungkook blows me away every time he sings! Jordan, we call that being Jungshook!! He doesn’t have a vocal coach. He said he stopped vocal lessons some time ago on a recent show he was on. He just sings anytime he can.

To be able to sing like that while dancing, sitting down, or skipping, and still sound so amazing... How does he do it? JK is just unbelievable!

JKs vocals are amazing and just so natural and i love them so much, the way he sings is just so beautiful and majestic

Yep, he is such an amazing vocalist. This guy became the main vocalist at age 15, i can't imagine what pressure that must have been, but I understand why. He can basically sing everything and it sounds incredible, that's how good he is. He has become one of the best vocalist out there (my opinion). He got the whole package. I love your reactions to the boys, 7 amazing guys with so much talent.

Jungkook is an incredible vocalist! His sense of rhythm, agility, runs, etc. His vocal range and smooth transition between registers along with perfect pitch. His skills with adlibs and harmonizing as well. His vocal stability on stage while dancing is crazy. he had some vocal coach lessons though recently, I believe at the second part of 2020. I am sorry I do not remember vocal coach name, he is a big figure in singing in Korea

@@RasaAkstiniene he said he met with him once briefly. Jungkook recently said he teaches himself ever since debut because when he tries to take vocal lessons and sing how they tell him to, he loses his vocal character

@@angiesplaylist23 actually that's truth, because each vocal coach has 'his/her' style. that's why I never took vocal lessons. :) I have one on my desktop, by Justin Burke, but I am afraid to open it, watch, try his techniques and to lose myself afterwards. So I think JK does a right thing. If he wants to be unique, he must do it by himself. And boy he succeeds :)

@@JordanSmithy jungkook doesnt take vocal lessons, he learns by watching vids and other singers, and by constant practicing, he said he there is no specific time for his practice, he does it 24/7 whenever he can he just keeps on singing.

Jungkook is the most confident singer on stage, has the most stable & flexible voice, hits high notes while sitting prettily. when he takes his mic, closes his eyes and forgets everything other than music. He's more than a main vocal.

When you realize that after his trainee days JK is mostly self taught vocally.... Golden Maknae indeed!

You barely scratched the surface when it comes to Jungkookie. There is so much to see and catch up on - James Corden Carpool karaoke; The Masked Singer; in the Soop ad libs recording; recording of Euphoria; JK rapping ( equally good as his singing), his English covers ( he does them better than JB) etc..... I am sure he is pretty aware of his gift by now. You can even see his confidence, enthusiasm and utter joy ( basically he gets in-the-zone ) when he sings but he remains humble about it and continuously improves. Jungkook claimed recently he didn´t use a vocal coach as he didn´t want to lose his uniqueness but I am sure he has covered all basics more than plenty in earlier years. I even heard somewhere he used to have the same vocal coach as Suga. Can´t direct to a source though. Yep, Jungkook is special and his tool box is massive. One in a million.

YESSSS he is like genuinely the best vocalist i know. I have been a fan for a long time now but still i can never wrap my head around how effortless and perfect his vocals are, i mean he just opens his mouth and thats what comes out!!!??? About the vocal lessons or who his vocal coach is, as far as we know he had vocal lessons during his trainee days but it was for a very short amount of time. He wanted to become an amazing singer and he also wanted to prove his worth in the team so he basically said that from that time on he "erased the idea of 1hour of vocal practice" so he was just singing everywhere at any time of the day, in the shower, in the car etc... In the recent live he said he purposefully doesn't take any vocal lessons because he doesn't want to lose his signature vocal quality and tonality, so he practices on his own. Basically what we're hearing now is raw talent that has been perfected to no flaw with hours and hours of hard work from him :))

He had no idea he would be picked as main vocal. They sent him to LA to learn how to dance. When he came back he told Jimin he wanted to quit BTS and become just a dancer. Jimin talked him out of it. When he first got signed he would not sing alone in front of the other members. He was so shy. He would just cry. Somehow...a miracle...he discovered he could sing...really sing. Thank you...he doesnt autotune although he sounds like he does...that is just his voice. He has been accused of it his whole career. He did start out with a vocal coach, but stopped when she wasn't developing the voice he knew he had. He developed his own voice by practicing non stop every day.

I love his voice! In a recent TV show he said at first when he was 14 he had vocal lesson but decide to give up to learn by himself to have his own style of singing.

Jungkook knows he has a specific sound and he knows the technicalities of producing sound. There is a clip of him helping Jimin to achieve what he wants with his voice. It must have been scary to be the main vocalist for the group at 15 but he’s never let them down. His adlibs are legendary.

Jimin is also the one with the highest range that you thought was a female voice or female song when JK (tried to, he said it was to high for him) and sang along to part of Jimin's solosong Filter during the live stream you watched.

That big note in Truth Untold was Jin!! Please react to more Jin's vocals, he is so underrated, but no less amazing than Jungkook or any other member from the vocal line! Oh also, Jungkook recently mentioned (I think it was in those Be-hind interviews) that he very rarely goes to singing lessons!!! He just said he sings everywhere, all the time, no matter what he is doing, just non stop practicing. That must be why he is the most stable vocalist in BTS and his voice stays stable even while dancing a lot (other members are also amazing while dancing, but he remains so stable as if it was a recording and not a live performance...)

He's said that he tried to go to as few vocal lessons as he could so that he could maintain his style and not lose it in favor of learning technique. So he's basically his own teacher, saying that he used to (and prob still does) sing every possible minute of every day to get better and stay consistent while also learning and growing.

BTS debuted in 2013 and Jungkook and he got his first proper vocal lesson in 2019. Last year a korean singer and vocal coach named Kim Yeon-woo said that Jungkook called him and asked if he could give him vocal lessons since he never had a proper one before. Recently Jungkook said that he hasn't got many vocal lessons on purpose because he felt like the colours in his voice was affected whenever he had lessons. So he has mostly learned singing on his own.
