    Technically may be. He does have a crazy vocal range. And a full control on his vocals. But i would choose singers like Chester Bennington and Whitney Houston over him. They dont have that range or technique but i prefer original songs than covers. And S. O. S is a very emotional and vulnerable song it doesnt match when the singer sings it smiling and confident raising his hand and such. Almost saying "look at me look at my skills" i would say the song didnt suit him very well. As for his other cover of Vitas it really suited him. I think people are looking at technique and vocal range too much but singing is something more than that. For example Over the rainbow is a simple song technically speaking, but its one of the greatest songs to be created. So in conclusion ofcourse Dimash is a great singer but not the greatest, at least not in my opinion.

    The first sentence of this song “why do I live? Why do I die?” goes straight into my heart. This song is about the distress of an artist that feels he doesn’t belong to this world, and prefers to live in his fantasies above the skies. Perfect match for Dimash, who’s a vocal magician out of this world!

    In the original play that this is written for, I am almost certain this song is after the protagonist loses the one he loves in a terrorist attack. It's a song reflecting the depressive state of the person and his suicidal thoughts - hence not sure why he lives or dies. This is why in Daniels version it is sung with intense emotion. Just like most of Daniels songs, it revolves around dark themes. Dimash doesn't capture that emotion, it is a different kind of performance with a different interpretation of the lyrics. Both have their place and are great

    there is no world's best singer. It's like saying world's best artist. One artist who has mastered photo realistic paintings might be a complete amateur in another genre of painting. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Dimash would be an amateur in real operatic singing, for example. Not to discredit his talent. Just trying to dispel this myth. He is good at what he does, but to say world's best singer discredits many artists who have achieved greatness in their style. Dimash for example I believe claims he is a baritone, but let's compare him to a real opera baritone and you realize Dimash's technique is greatly based on whining/shrieking with a raised larynx/spread mouth and squeezed pharynx. Nothing wrong with it, just a completely different technique to say this: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eoqL17GefZSuecY.html

    Tita Hi! You should check out his Olympico performance if you haven’t already. There he shows us a more operatic style of singing and he also sings in the baritone register I believe. I do agree that saying he is the best singer in the world is not so much a fact but rather an opinion, nevertheless I personally think that he is very good at what he does and he puts a lot of hard work into his singing! Sorry for any grammatical errors, english is not my first language ^^;

    Absolutely honest and amazing reaction. Thank you. Believe me you'll be crashed, smashed and Dimashed in the best possible way, when you see everything he is able to do with his voice. Yes, he is insane. His singing technique is insane. Dimash is a vocal book and you can learn a lot from his performances. Many more surprises await you with Dimash. He picks a song, execute it , does it in his own Dimash's way and it becomes the most beautiful thing you've ever heard. He makes every song extraordinary and unique. The beauty and abilities of his voice, and his six octaves range he plays with, as if it's as natural as breathing, make him untouchable. He makes some pretty 'extreme' music, breaks music impossibility and all rules. Dimash creates a new genre in music. He mixes pop, rock, opera, rap, hip hop and r&b music, in his own unique way. Check out his other performances too please. Just always turn the subtitles on and keep cutting the songs with your comments, so you don't have a copyright strikes. By the way I have no instagram, so I find that way easier. Opera 2. Adagio. Show must go on. Confessa + Diva dance. Hello. Sinful passion /Sochi/. Daybreak /Bastau concert/. Earth Song ... Просто для Димаша, голос не инструмент для получения признания и славы, а инструмент для передачи глубоких состояний. Эта песня "S.O.S." именно об этом. А также "Olimpico"(Ogni Pietra). Эти песни послание человечеству, которые хорошо поймёт пробуждённый. Все хотят получать любовь, признание, славу, уважение и это нормально. Но наше общество разрушается по причине того, что мало кто хочет отдавать, служить, уважать, признавать, помогать. Мы живём в мире эгоизма. Это песня о душе, которая осознала, что попала в мир обратный божественному, эгоистический земной мир, в котором все хотят только пожирать друг друга. Как можно больше получить, и как можно меньше отдать. И в конце душа внутри ребёнка говорит ему, - Спи. Мы живём в мире заснувших детей. Димаш родился в семье музыкантов, которые бережно, с любовью его воспитали. Он транслирует людям Любовь и принятие в своих песнях. Ведь только она связывает нас с Богом. Он обнимает своим восхитительным Сердцем каждого заснувшего ребёнка, и будит для Любви!

    every time I listen to him my eyes are watering, for he expresses such emotions when singing, it's just crazy. His technic is amazing, but considering that he's got his parents' genes -they are also singers- it is not something unusual I think. Also he was literally raised with love during twenty and more years, so this is the result of how to raise a child in the best way. Thanks for giving us all the joy through your songs Dimash.

    When fantastic voice meets a beautiful song. It's an old song very famous in France, very powerful and melancholic. Beautiful, but very sad. This song talk about suicide. Lyrics are like a last letter. The last "S.O.S" just before suicide. And not only lyrics. Everybody notes this vocal range, this transition from the lowest notes to really high notes. The melody is built as a metaphor for a rise, a climb, from the ground to the sky. From sad life to death as liberation. It starts with deepest note (and lyrics mentions words like earth, ground) to finish with very high note (and lyrics mentions words like sky, bird). This song is very hard to sing. But this guy has a gift, and he makes an exceptional interpretation. ........................ Pourquoi je vis, pourquoi je meurs ?... Pourquoi je ris, pourquoi je pleurs ? (Why do I live, why do I die ?... Why do I laugh, why do I cry ?) Voici le S.O.S d'un terrien en détresse (Here is the S.O.S of an earthman in distress) J'ai jamais eu les pieds sur terre... J'aimerais mieux être un oiseau... Je suis mal dans ma peau (I never had my feet on the ground... I'd rather be a bird... I don't feel good in my own skin) Je voudrais voir le monde à l'envers... Si jamais c'était plus beau... Plus beau vu d'en haut, d'en haut ! (I'd like to see the world upside down... If it were ever more beautiful... More beautiful from above, from above !) J'ai toujours confondu la vie avec les bandes dessinées (I've always mistaken life with comics) J'ai comme des envies de métamorphose, je sens quelque chose (I have some metamorphosis desires, I feel something) Qui m'attire, qui m'attire, qui m'attire... vers le haut ! (That pulls me, that pulls me, that pulls me... upwards !) Au grand loto de l'univers... J'ai pas tiré le bon numéro... Je suis mal dans ma peau (In this great lottery of the universe... I didn't pull the right number... I don't feel good in my own skin) J'ai pas envie d'être un robot... Métro boulot dodo, whou-ohhh ! (I don't want to be a robot... Work work work, whou-ohhh !) Pourquoi je vis, pourquoi je meurs ?... Pourquoi je ris, pourquoi je pleurs ? (Why do I live, why do I die ?... Why do I laugh, why do I cry ?) Je crois capter des ondes, venues d'un autre monde (I think I'm catching waves, from another world) J'ai jamais eu les pieds sur terre... J'aimerais mieux être un oiseau... Je suis mal dans ma peau (I never had my feet on the ground... I'd rather be a bird... I don't feel good in my own skin) Je voudrais voir le monde à l'envers... J'aimerais mieux être un oiseau... Dodo l'enfant, do ! (I'd like to see the world upside down... I'd rather be a bird... Sleep my child, sleep !)

    @@musicbyNoci It's actually not about suicide originally. The original singer, Gregory Lemarchal, was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at a young age. I'd say it was originally about his grappling with his own mortality. At only age 23, Lemarchal lost his battle with Cystic Fibrosis. As always, songs are open for interpretation, however.

    @@MrMopbucket This song is much more older. Write in the 70's. The original singer is Balavoine. Famous singer of the 70's - 80's in France, dead in helicopter crash on Paris-Dakar car race. Lemarchal sang it much later. The author of this song, Michel Berger, wrote a lot of famous french song, sometimes very melancholic, about death, like "Le paradis blanc" (the white paradise). All you say about Lemarchal life is right. But he's not the original singer. And originally it's about suicide, even if it's never directly mentionned in the lyrics. An "SOS d'un terrien en détresse". You can trust me, I heard this song since my birth ;)

    Друзья, опять у нас новобранец. Он певец. И опять знакомство с Димашем начинается с песни "СОС". Как было и до него, учителя по вокалу начинали в начале песни делать профессиональный анализ, пытаясь объяснить, как же эти звуки образуются где-то там внутри и выходят волею певца наружу, где надо то громче, то тише, то выше, то ниже, то объемно, то с вибрато, то еще как-то так, что мы слышим изумительную гармонию этих звуков, доселе не слыханных и составляющих ткань песни. Наш новый блогер тоже начал нам объяснять с самого начала, что и почему. Некоторые интересные для себя места повторял по несколько раз. В середине он ОЙкнул, дослушал песню до конца и сказал: "Вау! Мурашки по всему телу. О, мой Бог! Я действительно уважаю его как художника. Он очень хорошо поет. Не только техника, но и эмоции. И он поет на французском языке, который действительно тяжел, когда это не твой родной язык. Это просто красиво, и я даже не могу понять, что все же я действительно чувствовал?"./////////////////// .Уважаемые музыкально образованные специалисты по пению, которые читают мой комментарий. Я не смогла записать все рассуждения этого молодого человека о технике пения, звукообразования, регулирования дыхания и т.д., так как я не специалист в этом деле и не все понимаю, что говорят учителя вокала.

    Thanks for that reaction. Foremost, salute to you, in such a young age, you know your music well. You have an ear. With that you are also trained as dimash did. This was a performance more than 3 years ago. Imagine how he evolved since then. Watching him sung in videos is nothing compared to watching it live. This guys is a magician, he will envelop you in his world and takes you in a journey with him. Watching him live makes me felt as if I levitated and I laugh, i cried and i was hurt... I felt his pain, his anguish and every emotions on that song. He's that and beyond. Anyway if you wanted to see the many colors, timber, tones of his voice please watch sinful passion and love is like a dream. His most emotional performance after adagio was the autumn strong and daybreak but make sure you watch it via gloria wu channel for the story behind the songs. I cried many times even though I watch it thousands and thousands of times. His official channel video screaming has beautiful staccato. Welcome to dimash world.

    Сколько просмотрела реакций, но этот молодой человек, по моему , очень правильно слушает и анализирует. Остановив видео , он возвращается немног назад , тогда как самые большие специалисты прерывают, зачастую, в самом интересном феноменальном месте, долго говорят, затем продолжают слушать уже потеряв самую изюминку великолепного исполнения.. Считаю, раз делаешь реакцию, так реагируй, а анализ оставь на потом. Или делай как этот парень . Это сугубо моё личное мнение. Thank you very much!

    Очень странно, когда музыканты обрывают фразу, это непрофессионально. А парень молодец, слушает грамотно.

    Парень именно вникает, другие просто кайфуют, или демонстрируют, что всё знают и утрачивают множество красок и оттенков, первый раз такую реакцию вижу, даже ссылку оставил. чтобы пересмотреть.

    Dimash is super love also his humbleness which a lot of artists can learn from the humble you are the greater your Art will be, but Dimash has it in his genes the reason he sings with much emotions that you get goosbumbs! He does not need all the blah blah stage set lighting huge group of dancers naked almost and so on... because his voice is more then enough to fill up a stadium!

    I love this reaction. He explains every technique that dimash's vocal does. Than others that keep amaze and done.
