He is not about the range only. To me, his tones, technique, skills set, stage presence, versatility with many genres and musics. “Jack of all trades, master them all “ is him. Well trained, high elite of musics and vocal academy / degree. People say Mariah Carey’s songs are murder sings to sing / cover. To me, his songs are the real murder songs for most vocalists out there, yet he sings them in the concerts with dancing and such for like 2-3 hours. Talk about intense vocal stamina.

i won't said "master of them all" the feeling of "depressiveness" of the song is missed i would NEVER said that he don't have a monstruous technic he have but for exemple his prononciation is most of the time of ( for exemple when he said "pourquoi je vis?" he said the last S that is silent in french! and like i said the "feeling of depressiveness" of the "character" is of this song came from a "rock opera" called starmania and is sang by daniel balavoine, try to look at daniel balavoine live performance you feel the pain on his face!

@@thaeros He is 22, this is a competition, he doesn't speak, or understand French, he is learning English right now. I don't agree with your understanding of depressiveness. It was quite clear during the song in how he sings, that it's a sad song. I have listened and watched Daniel Balavonie and he is no where near the level Dimash is, at delivering this song, Daniel can barely hold the note in some area's of this song. Goes off tune a few times and struggles to hit and hold any high note. Which makes it sound rushed and cut shot. I don't see emotion on his face, I see he is straining to sing this particular song. There is a clip of everyone who has attempted this song including Daniel, to see who delivers it the best, and Dimash is way beyond them all. You may be just putting your own personal taste on this, instead of looking at it as a whole. But between the two, Dimash is so much better at delivering this than Daniel is.

For me Dimash is mostly "showing his vocal skills" ( that are extremely hight) and YES on technic i feel he IS far beyond balavoine (RIP) But NO i don't feel much "despair" in dimash cover and i feel it in balavoine song! that MAY be because i'm french so i "feel" more the variations in french but for dimash i feel nothing ( or very little) of the "despair" of this song! Whatever you said that won't change and don't tell me that i know nothing about singing I'M a singer ( jazz/blues/rock) and i FEEL things even in languages i don't speak like LiSa "ichiban no takaramono" or Kokia "time to say goodbye" and both sing in JAPANESE a language i don't speak!

Congratulations, you just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages (speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, some English, and a little Mandarin), plays 8 musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in musicology. He was 22 in this performance and is 28 now (only gotten better). He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. His mother is an opera singer and his father is a singer and producer. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion" 2018 and then "Stranger" 2021, "Ikanaide" 2021, "DIva Dance" at Bastau and "Ave Maria" 2021. Each performance will leave you stunned. Thank you for reacting to our Dimash!

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. With friendship Rui Baptista

Dimash enrolled in music college at 5 yrs old. His vocal cords have received intense training for 20 yrs. He has two master's degrees in different types of music. He is considered to be the best vocalist in the world and a master performer. He sings in many languages and plays many instruments. He is an exceptional singer and excels in martial arts and swimming. His mother is a world-class opera singer, and his father is also a well-known crooner in Asia. He was raised by his grandparents, which is customary in his home country of Kazakhstan. He appears in front of crowds of hundreds of thousands of people and is known to give the proceeds to charity. He is a very humble and shy man. He stands at 6 ft. 3 1/2" tall and weighs 200 pounds. He was 22yrs old at the time of this performance. His first album went platinum in 37 seconds.

I've been listening to Dimash since he popped up on my feed...3 days ago. He is super human and my eyes fill with tears when he opens his mouth. The problem is, every other singer I listen to now, singers that I love, all pale in comparison. What a gift he's been given. He was a piano prodigy at age 5. There isn't an instrument he doesn't play and play well. He sings in 15 languages. He dances exceptionally well. There isn't a music genre that he doesn't sing...even Michael Jackson! He's kind and humble. And it's all wrapped up in good looks in a 6'3" tall package. I'm 75 and I've never witnessed anything like him.

This song is a pearl of the French songbook is a Canadian-French cyberpunk-rock opera called Starmania, written in 1976 by Michel Berger (France) and with lyrics by Luc Plamondon (Canada) and immortalized in the voices of Daniel Balavoine, Diane Dufresne and Grégory Lemarchal. The song's theme is depression: In the 2021 version, Dimash faithfully and brilliantly presents a sentimental and melancholy interpretation! As the singing decisions follow the original structure of the song, which serves to show the psychological instability of the distressed character: From chest voice to head voice and then falsetto, the author aimed to show a broad need to win a long of desperation and the need to reach a very high perspective! Dimash, currently in his concerts, dedicates this song to his friends and acquaintances who left this world!

Thanks for your wonderful reaction. Dimash is absolutely incredible. I’ve been listening to him for over five years and he just keeps getting better and better over time. Of course the first most people talk about is his range, which that in itself is amazing. But he is so much more then that, when he sings he literally becomes the MUSIC. Watch closely his body language , the music flows right through him. His hands actually conducts the song in many of his performances. Seen him live on stage in New York City back in 2019. He had his first solo concert in America at the Barclay Center. It was the best musical experience I’ve ever heard. Please continue to listen to more songs by this amazing artist. I promise you will not be disappointed. Oh, he is also a very humble and compassionate young man. His fame has not changed him, his strength comes from his family, and he is the pride of Kazakhstan. 🎼🎶🎤🇰🇿❤️🇺🇸❤️👏👏👏👏

Next go for Sinful Passion, a masterpiece in the usage of different timbres to interpret a song. Plus an incredible 24-second phrase on one single breath that other vocal experts have called the best piece of singing they have ever heard. Regarding SOS, it has become Dimash's signature song with an even more elaborate version published at his digital show in 2021.

👉 This was a historic moment and is Dimash’s calling card. That is the song of the songs for Dimash and us, his Dears (That is what Dimash calls us fans.) The best comment from a Dear under the first video: „If you are having a bad day, remember, someone had to sing after him.“ 🤣 That one moment when a vblogger first hear Dimash and is instantly mesmerized by it... priceless and beautiful to watch. I love it! This song is one of the most difficult songs to sing and made Dimash a mega-star overnight in 2017 (The Singer). The song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' (1978) and is known in the English-speaking world as Tycoon (1995). Music: Michel Berger and Luc Plamondon (French original text). The English adaptation is by Tim Rice. That's how it all started: In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Foreign participants were actually forbidden at that time. The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home. The competition is not a talent show. Only professional, award-winning singers participate. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers and a mega-star was born overnight. The next day bodyguards were at his door and now he is a superstar but without airs... just our Dimash. The competition consisted of 14 rounds over 4 months. The jury consisted of 500 spectators who knew music, not just your average "Joe". They were well screened to be sure they would be able to judge the musicians fairly and competently. With up to 1 billion people watching this TV program and international interest was aroused. The performances were uploaded to KZread ... and so we became Dimash's Dears. The Chinese organizers planned... but Dimash came, sang and stayed ... for the next 3 years in China ... but he only finished second in the competition because he is not Chinese (conditions have changed: 2018, Jessie J. Won). * Original: Daniel Balavoine - SOS d'un terrien en détresse (Starmania) - kzread.info/dash/bejne/a5-O16ahpbfRqKg.html

Please do a series with Dimash! I love watching other good singers react to Dimash and actually admit they might learn something from him. He was 22 here (28 now) and had been studying music already for 17 years. He's blessed to come from two parents who are both professional singers and an extended musical family. If you ever see videos from family dinners at his house there is always singing and instrument playing. He plays six or seven instruments and has sung songs in 15 different languages. He speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, has greatly improved his English over the last five years and speaks some Mandarin. He's also 6'3" tall, slim and did quite a bit of modeling back in 2017 and 2018. Now he's much too busy for that. Please listen to Olimpico with Igor Krutoy (he composed it just for Dimash's voice). I'll be with you on your Dimash journey.

Welcome to Dimash world! You haven’t seen anything jet!!! This is about 1/3 or so what he can do! Please react to the same songs but from different places and times because he changes them a bit every time please also watch the hole videos through because something might happen just that time…(Like Dimash hitting a D8!!! Yepp higher then the piano can go!!!) It's so fun for us "Dears" (that’s what Dimash calls his fans because he loves us as a dear family) to see how people react to him. Some info about Dimash. He is born in May 24 1994. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music schooled sense 5 years old and told the teacher that the piano was out of tune! He sings about 7 octaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano can go! He also writs and compose own songs, plays bunch of instruments including Dombra there own Kazakh instrument that has a sound you can’t believe and onley 2 strings! He also sings in about 14 (Kazakh, Turkish, Usceck, Russian, Ukranian, Serbien, Bulgarian Chinese , Italien, Spamish, French, English, German, Japanese ) languages and speaks 3 so far (Kazakh, Russian and English). Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and have started his PhD. He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500. Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside). They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his famous over night. Dimash got many new friends from this show and he said at some point he learned a lot from it to. Here are the You Tube videos of Dimash's performances in The Singer 2017 and also The Singer 2018 he was invited to perform at the gala show they did. Also from 2019 there "The Super Vocal boys" invited him to sing with them! this you did here!! Episode 1 : 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' (A Soul's Plea For Help) In French. kzread.info/dash/bejne/lXery7yddt2cY9o.html Episode 2 :'Opera 2' in Russian! The best moment in this show was just after Dimash started thanking everyone and saw his father there. He didn’t know he was there. Just after they got out of that room Dimash turns to his father and asks if he did good! When Dimash was gonna go in to the other contestants he again turned to his father and asked him if he done good! Gloria Wu's channel has the back-story about the song that is so sad and from a life story about a boy losing his parents in an awful way. Also you get to hear how Dimash sounds like then loosing his voice the day of the show!!! When he went on he didn’t know if he could sing. Looking close at the other contestants they where so worried about him. He lost his voice again after. If I remember correct he wrote the music to this one when he was 19 years old and lyrics by Oral-kosai Baisengir, who was a poet/lyricist father of a friend of Dimash. Also in this show another contestant "Terry Lin" that was about 51 years young here he considered Dimash a dear friend at this point. But Dimash started telling them al he was his father around episode 9 I think!! That is a big respect and love from his part of the world to call him! Terry was gladly accepting it. They are still that close and also invites each other to there concerts and sometimes singing this song in duet to. They sang it in Jackie Chang movie festival in 2019 and Jackie was choked in how good they were. this is a starter song for Dimash, I'm glad you finally discovered our vocal god. This song was years ago and he has gotten so much better. See the difference in the same song but in 2021 :kzread.info/dash/bejne/c4l1tMyeqKa6nLQ.html You will be amazed at the difference. SOS 2021 is a Master Class in vocals, every singer and student should watch/ listen to it over and over and truly study how he achieves what he does. You have over 140 songs, each unique and different, no cookie cutter stuff , all shocking. By the way, he now has a 7.5 octave reach with 3 semitones and he plays over 6 instruments and he sing in 14+ languages and speaks fluently in 3 . Maybe more by now. I sure hope to see you do more, I would love to follow you down that road if you do, I like your breakdowns on what you see. Thanks Ryan Love from a Los Angeles Dear. Dears are what Dimash calls his fans. because we are So dear to him.

Dimash was only 22 yrs. old when he performed this on the Chinese singing competition show "The Singer 2017". He was the first foreigner and non-professional to have been invited. He was also the youngest in the history of the show. The other performers were 12-39 yrs his senior. I hope you listen to him sing All By Myself, Adagio, Unforgettable Day, and The Show Must Go On from this same show. Also, Ikanaide was lived-streamed for the Japanese Jazz Festival 2021 due to Covid restrictions.

Hola Ryan. Pura vida 🇨🇷❤️🇰🇿

GREAT review, look forward to more. Just a friendly request if you could cut DQ somewhere other than in the middle of a note, and then when you resume play if you could go back 5 seconds each time so it's not so disjointed. It's really disturbing to cut him off right in the middle of a great note. This is what the best reviewers all do. Best. liked subscribed & belled

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than Ten(10) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from USA 🇺🇸 "Dears" Forever ❤️ Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. I disagree. This performance allows us to see him as a grown-up but not at the height (maybe he still isn't at the height of his career, but perfection was reached long ago so he's simply going to further galaxies and we can't relate). I mean to say, that smile going into the end is absolutely priceless to me.

You are in for a treat! This was my first Dimash reaction last year, 28k subs later, I owe a lot of it to the "Dears" ( I am one now myself) There are so many AMAZING songs and performances, he is also very creative and is involved in the arrangements, and he has some SPECTACULAR Music Videos! The quality is motion picture good. He is a great actor, showing off his skills in "Be with me", "Golden" "Love of Tired Swans" and his newest one- Which has surpassed "Thriller" as the most expensive MV ever made in "The story of one sky". He loves to use symbolism and gives lots of easter eggs throughout his videos. His live performances are jaw dropping! "Opera 2" Is a Favorite of mine and I would suggest it next, it shows off his playful side, and he also shows off in true Dimash style that he IS an Alien, by singing "Diva Dance" (From the movie "the 5th Element) It's the song the blue alien sang. This song was created in the studio with a famous Opera star, in parts and edited together so no "human" could hit the notes, until Dimash. If you watch this, I prefer the "Confessa/Diva Dance" version, but they are all good. "Stranger", "Ikanaide", "Ave Maria" his MV "Know" are all great ones to follow up with. "Sinful Passion" seems to be the one most follow this one with, which is also amazing. Take your pick. Enjoy the ride, Life will never be the same! Come by my channel sometime and say hello! It's called "The Speak Easy Lounge". I do live streams on Mondays at 6pm est, if you're ever around, pop in and request a song or two! Cheers, and welcome to the world of Dimash!

Ryan, the audience is full of students, coaches and teachers, they get to mark the singers, after this performance the show got 600 Million viewers, this is Dimash's signature card now. At 22 with all that pressure, he was a wild card the show thought he would last 2 weeks. He came in 2nd, but its China no one outside of China are allowed to win. But he didn't need the win, this threw him out into the wider world. He got more than a win. Dimash has been analysed to death, some of the most experienced coaches/ teachers etc have him on their radar now for years. They are amazed at what he can do, this is such a small part of what he can do. You have one of two choices. Go down the route of when he started or jump to where he is now. I have found no song or piece of music, he can do it all, from rap to pop to Opera. Very humble guy, no bragging nothing, has not signed up with the big Simon Cowells etc. He wants to do his music the way he wants. Dimash has not got fans, he has an army. They call themselves "Dears'. Long story...😂 😂 Have fun, you will enjoy it.

This was a very enjoyable reaction. The song "S.O.S. (d'un Terrien en détresse)" is originally from a French-Canadian musical called 'Starmania' from the 1970s and is considered one of the most difficult French songs to perform. Dimash is from Kazakhstan. He appears here in the fifth season of Hunan Television's "I Am A Singer" competition. "I Am A Singer" is an annual Chinese music competition between famous and established professional singers. The audience phones in to determine the winner after each episode. It is the same throughout the entire show; 500 with musical backgrounds judge the show by points each week. At 22 years old, Dimash was the youngest participant in the show's history and competed against these professional and top-selling Chinese singers as a 'wildcard' competitor. The competition consists of 14 rounds, lasts almost 4 months, and competitors are eliminated throughout the season. Every performance is live, and no lip-syncing or auto-tune is permitted. Pure unadulterated vocal ability only. Dimash's mother later said that he hoped to reach at least the middle stage of the competition. This was the very first episode of the competition, and Dimash had to go first because he was considered the weakest, given that he was completely unknown to the audience. After this performance, he became a superstar in China overnight. His Chinese competitors called him their "little imported brother." The other already well-known contestants were in absolute awe of him and joked that they might as well go home. Dimash won the first two episodes! He also won the 6th for his rendition of "Adagio," a song made famous by Lara Fabian. First place overall went to the famous Chinese Sandy. Sandy's first album came out before Dimash was even born. Dimash took second place overall; however, he lost by a very narrow margin. He lost a lot of points for his performance of "Uptown Funk." Although Dimash did not win the show, he immediately became a beloved star in China. As part of the contest, all contestants/performers are required to perform one original song they have composed. Dimash sang "Unforgettable Day," a song he wrote when he was still in his teens - it's a love song. He sang in both the original Kazakh and in Chinese even though he did not speak Chinese at the time and had to have a translator with him throughout the competition. Here is the order of Dimash's performances for The Singer 2017. The contest lasts 14 weeks, but Dimash has only 13 performances because he had already made it into the semi-finals by week 11. 1. S.O.S. (French) 2. Opera 2 (Russian) 3. The Show Must Go On (English) 4. Autumn Strong (Mandarin) 5. Uptown Funk (English) 6. Adagio (English) 7. Daididau (Kazakh) 8. Daybreak (Mandarin) 9. All By Myself (English) 10. Unforgettable Day (Mandarin/Kazakh) 11. Bye week - He had already made it into the semis 12. Confessa/Diva Dance (Mandarin/Italian/Alien) (Semi-finals) 13. Michael Jackson Tribute Medley (English) (Finals) 14. Give Me Love (Makhabbat ber maghan) (Kazakh) The last performance was part of the 2017 Biennial Concert and not the competition. It was broadcast live and is an original song written for Dimash. Lyrics: Why do I live? Why do I die? Why do I laugh? Why do I cry? Here is the S.O.S. Of an earthling in distress My feet were never on the ground I'd much rather be a bird I don't fit my skin I'd like to see the world upside down What if it's more beautiful As seen from above, above I always seemed to confuse life With some kind of comic strip I'm so eager to get metamorphosed I can feel something Drawing me, drawing me Drawing me way up high At the universe's lottery I didn't get winning numbers I don't fit my skin I don't wanna be a machine All work and no sleep Why do I live? Why do I die? Why do I laugh? Why do I cry? I think I'm picking up Waves from another world My feet were never on the ground I'd much rather be a bird I don't fit my skin I'd like to see the world upside down I'd much rather be a bird Back to sleep, dear child... lyricstranslate.com

Amazing reaction my friend Ryan!!...Thank you for follow my suggestion and meet Dimash, the best male singer of the world (In my personal opinion)...But Dimash isn't my unique suggestion for you my friend!!...Now I want to invite you to meet, who is considered like The Fourth Element of All Time Vocal Trinity (with Whitney, Mariah and Celine) and one of the Best Female Singers of the World...The passion and dedication when Dimash is performing a song can only be compared with the person who has influenced him to sing leaving everything on stage: His idol, the queen, the incomparable, the Goddess: Lara Fabian...She is a lyric soprano with a amazing vocal range and incredible breath control...She speaks and composes in 5 languages and sings in more than 15 languages....That's why she is the inspiration for Dimash and several singers around the world...You can see covers of her songs on KZread made by singers of the stature of: Dimash, Diana Ankudinova, Morrisette Amon, Polina Gagarina, Forestella, Julie Anne San Jose, Laura Bretan, Katherine Jenkins, Sissel Kyrkjebo, Floor Jansen, Diana Navarro, Giulia Falcone, Gabriel Henrique, Rimar, Katrina Velarde, Cakra Khan and others (BTW: You have to react to all them)...Please react to her songs, all masterpieces, in LIVE versions, because Lara is more impressive when she sings live, so you can see why she is the idol of Dimash...Try to do it in this order and almost all songs are from the same Lara’s concert “From Lara With Love” in Montreal 1999, one of her best works: 1) Je Suis Malade (Singing in French)...2) Caruso (Singing in Italian)...3) Je T'AIME (2002 Live version in Paris Singing in French)...4) Perdere L'Amore (1999 Live version Singing in Italian)...5) Adagio (1999 Live version singing in english)...6) Broken Vow (1999 Live version singing in English)...7) You are Not From Here (1999 Live version singing in English)...8) Quédate (1999 Live version singing in Spanish)....9) Ti Amo Cosi (2019 Live version Singing a trío with Dimash and Aida Garifullina)....I hope to see you first reaction soon and if you don't mind, I'd like you to mention me as the person who recommended reacting to Lara...Here you have the link of her amazing performance of the song “Je Suis Malade”....kzread.info/dash/bejne/l3yH281tg6rapbw.html

Yes, you'll have to start a series. 🤯 You may want to build up chronologically or compare contemporary version of the same song even. And see how it's different. Or you could put two songs together in a row and hopefully your mind won't be TOO mega blown away not to be able to describe, appreciate and hopefully imitate for us some of Dimash's other creative voices that come out of his instrument...all for our education and enjoyment.🥳 Thank you very much for your reaction, you did quite well imitating those high perfect notes too. You're one of the better if not the best that I've seen on just the first song during the imitation of the songs high notes as a voice teacher. No decision is wrong because they're all jaw-dropping. Tell us what your gut feels and will recommend those that we know might be good for your second choice or give you a list to follow AFTER YOU TELL US WHAT YOU THINK YOU WANT... Let the gut be heard. I'm not even going to recommend any songs today. 🤔

His mother was an opera singer. His father was also a professional singer. The whole family was singing while he was in the womb. I've recently been told (I've yet to confirm this but it sounds somewhat plausible given things I've seen him say in interviews, eg his answer to the question when he first decided he would be a singer was "When I was 1 or 2 years old") that he reached out when he saw his parents handle cassette tapes that he'd see them insert into a player to make sounds he adored and then remove them, so they would give him a cassette to hold, and then, as he drifted off to sleep, and they tried to remove the tape from his little hand, he would make a baby objection sound and hold on to it firmly. Just imagine being so into singing, especially emotional operatic singing, before speaking. And then he never let up. He sang for hours a day, diligently practicing, right from the cradle on. He became the youngest student ever at a top music academy at the age of 5. So, you're right, the answer is joy, love, practice, training, musical creativity, and more joy, love, practice, training, musical creativity, tons of it, never letting up because it lights up your entire being. There's no point in trying to match Dimash in his specifics, but every point in staying on exactly the same path -- keep practicing, keep learning, keep having fun and sharing whatever gifts you have, lighting up the world in your own way.

I just found you and I'm so glad I did 🥰... I've been following Dimash since he did SOS on this competition show Singer in China in 2017! At the time, he had a 6-7 octave range, he'd just turned 22 and now he has an 8+ octave range, has sang in 15 languages, plays quite a few instruments and is arguably the best vocalist in the world! He's been in the most prestigious music school in Kazakhstan (where he is from) since he was 5yrs old, his grandmother took him there and he was accepted immediately! When he did this on the show, the ratings went up over 60 million I believe it was, and he could no longer walk around there anymore! Not only is he as amazing as the singer/performer he is, he is also VERY humble, kind, caring and just an incredible person to top it off!! He trains at least 3hrs a day and has swam underwater since he was little and now trains with Olympic swimmer's to keep his breath control as great as it is as well! We are the #Dears and if you ever want to know anything, just ask 😉 #Dears4Life💋❤️💯🙏😇🕊️

You’re going to be in the hole for quite awhile! Can you believe that he was only 22 when he competed in China. Five years later to today his voice is fully rounded out into those bass tones and he’s still working on expanding his range. I heard that he said in an interview that he was trained that when you push to finally have full use of a note that expands your range that the next two in line are attainable. Mind blowing. He is working now on his Phd in musicology, on top of his two B.A.s in composition and something else I can’t remember. He speaks fluently in Kazakh and Russian, is getting proficient in English, and learning some Mandarin as well (which is especially difficult to learn). He performed songs in over a dozen languages, and plays multiple instruments. He has so many other attributes as well including a wonderful temperament, he’s humble, funny, and naturally shy (although you can see he’s changed that to a degree over having a superstar lifestyle now). He was fortunate to have been raised by his musically acclaimed parents who are both singers and his dad is his manager. I think they have been hugely instrumental in helping to create his career, and Dimash has the luxury of being professionally independent and can take his career in any direction he wants. He believes deeply in bringing peace to the world and his songs and compositions are often focused here, if not on some aspect of love. Try “War and Peace” for an example of this. Have fun, you’re fast on your way to becoming a Dear(his fans).

Congratulations, you have been Dimashified !!! This was from a Chinnese song contest titled "The Singer". It was his first performance and everyone's mind in the audience was melted. What you witnessed is just the tip of the iceberg! You will see that Dimash IS the best singer/performer in this universe !!! Every one of his songs is unique and will leave you speachless... You have to also react to Stranger, Opera 2, Daybreak (Bastau version), Adagio (Singer version), Sinful Passion, Vocalize (and then Know), Ikanaide, Ogni Pietra, Ave Maria, Across Endless Dimensions and of course The Diva Dance (Bastau version). If you want to listen to someone that sings beyond the piano notes, try Unforgettable Day (Gakku version). And if you like mainstream, try Fly Away, Be With Me and Screaming... Wellcome to the rabbithole...

And such a glorious rabbit hole it is to travel down...you will be blown away every single time you listen to Dimash. There are so many songs to suggest and so very different from each other. It's an essay to say what he can do...rather easier to say what he can't - or more to the point what he has yet to attempt [ie true country]. Honestly I believe he'd nail that too. Want some pop to listen to try Screaming or the funky Be With Me...want some folk rock [and in Kazakh] try Durduraz. Want to hear him sing in stunning Italian, listen to Olimpico. Likewise Ikanaide from the Tokyo Jazz Festival and hear him sing is superb Japanese. Want to feel your spine tingle from the first vertebrae to the last, listen to Endless Dimensions and Love of Tired Swans. Want to hear him totally ensnare you listen to Ave Maria and Vocalise and realise that his voice IS the music. And when you listen to Daybreak from Bastau [and this is a must listen to song of his] - have a box of tissues on hand. Like I said, the list goes on and on and on. So yes, welcome to the world of DQ - the GOAT for sure.

Dimash's conventional (chest to falsetto) singing range is a little over 4 octaves. If you add his whistle range you get a little over 6 octaves. Then he can do some vocal fry and subharmonics to extend the lower range. He does a couple other versions of this song, SOS. The Slavic Bazaar version in 2018 was after he got some more coaching on his French pronunciation from French speaking fans, so it is cleaner. This 2017 performance was extremely high pressure. It was the most critical moment of his career and he knew it. You can tell because of that little smile during the pause just before the gentle finish. He broke character for about half a second. He hasn't done that since. But the pressure was so high that seeing and hearing that the audience was total hooked during that pause that they weren't hardly even breathing meant that he had done this song right. The relief was too great and he couldn't hide it. Anyway, Dimash also did SOS in his digital concert in 2021 and it shows a lot of musical growth. It sounds more French and less like an Asian guy singing French, not that I am any authority, but that's how it feels. Next, I would recommend his Sinful Passion (Greshnaya Strast) at Sochi around 2018 with the original band that wrote it, A-Studio. It's in Russian and has very good English subtitles. The 2019 performance of Love Is Like A Dream at Moscow at the Alla Pugacheva tribute concert, the first singer of the song (as Love Like A Dream - 1994). Specially rearranged for Dimash by the composer, Igor Krutoy - on the piano. Also in Russian with good subtitles. Then maybe Ogni Pietra (Olimpico) in Italian! And long. A partially opera style performance in a driving steamroller of motivation. I generally recommend one of the earlier ones. The version from Igor Krutoy's channel is very good. You have to pick auto-translate->English, but Italian translates well. There are a bunch of more light-hearted, fun songs too. Opera 2 is in this same 2017 Chinese competition and the only time he sang it. Diva Dance in 2017 at Bastau is excellent, surprising and short. There's a lot more, but these are good starters.
