To answer your question. Dimash graduated in 2014 in Classical Music from the music department of K. Zhubanov University in Aktobe and began his studies in contemporary music (Jazz, Pop) at Kazakh National University of Arts in Astana where he graduated in June 2018 with Major in Vocal. He is currently taking his Masters in Composing, with the University. Dimash stated in interviews he spends about 3 hrs daily on his music/vocals with Vocal teachers or just by himself. Dimash has been studying and performing music since he was 5 years old... he is 25 years old now.

What always surprises me is when he takes off his singing face, he looks like a different person too! When singing, his jaw is in a very different position. When not singing, his jaw comes back to human position!

I've watched many reactions to Dimash. The best reactions always come from singers. It's almost like they go through the 5 stages of grief for singing. Dimash destroys every boundary, every rule, every classification. Dimash changed my understanding of music...I would've sworn I knew everything I needed to know about music! I. Knew. Nothing. I felt grief over the loss. Decades of songs tarnished. Honestly, I want dimash to sing all of my favorite songs now. Other singers I used to admire have been forever diminished. In their place though, is the greatest singer of my lifetime. Thank you God I lived long enough to hear Dimash!

I love how Dimash after singing the song with such power and intensity just looks perfectly calm, collected and no sweat, as if he just sang a lullaby. Other singers would of been exhausted and winded after a performance like that.

Since he started in musica academy at age 5, he has practiced for 1 to 5 hours every day. He now is almost 26, so that's over 20 years of continued practice, and training his voice to do what he wants it to. He LOVES the practice. LOVES the hard work. So his voice, which was perfect when I first saw him about 8 months ago, is even noticeably better, now.

Happy to help you achieve your dream, Nya. I agree with you. Pop is great to listen to and to watch Dimash loosen up, but his neo-classical songs always pierce my soul. There's nothing quite like it. He said he sleeps between 2 and 5 hours per day because in his head, he's always creating lol .... That 'no flat/imprecise notes' is exactly why people sometimes think he's lip syncing. He's just that good. About the high notes. For me, it's not just about him hitting those notes. It's about the way he delivers them and the emotion he puts behind them. I sometimes think Dimash uses his voice in much the same way as an artist (painter) uses his brushes. He can caress you gently with those soft, barely there notes, get your eyes tearing up when he goes into that gentle soprano, and then give you an emotional overload when he really lets rip. At the 8:35 mark, I think you missed one of the best parts of the performance while you were busy being a Dimash fangirl, not that here is anything wrong with that. For several seconds Dimash, while not singing, was still performing with his eyes! He gets into every performance with his eyes, body and hands. It's always a total performance with Dimash!
