The Cebuano they are singing is very warm and lyrical. Ferdinand is the writer and one of the artist from her native Cebu she wants to promote.

It's a wedding song "The Wait", in Cebuano/Bisaya, Mori's native hometown language. Something like: "Though the wait has been long, we're here at last. My lifelong dream is ending because now it begins."

Ang Paghuwat is "THE WAIT" in English. This is a wedding song. Mori doesn't have to do anything crazy to be considered a great singer but if you wanna see her turn into an absolute beast, try her live performance of "Ang Huling el Bimbo" fusion fest 2023. It's on her official KZread channel.

Ferdinand is one of the writers of Undangon Ta Ni interpreted by Morissette. definitely Ang Paghuwat is a wedding song ❤

I love this song, the perfect wedding song. The lyrics can be found on Morissette's page btw. Morissette left the big vocal tool box at home just to perform this great duet in such a heartfelt, soothing way. Amazing! Thank you for your reaction. Greetings from Europe.

There is the studio version with the English captions on it, beautiful, it's like the marriage vows spoken to each other, the English captions are great, but to sing this in English, you would have to charge a few words, to sing this as smoothly as Mori and Ferdinand, the Cebu dialect is a little bit softer than Tagalog, they have sung this live many times like here on the bus, a beautiful version is Mori used her wedding video with this song last week, of course its not live, now on the same day Mori sang WISHING WELL, another beautiful song from Mori with a lot of meaning, there are a couple of live versions available, and two or three vocal versions with Mori just walking, or travelling on a train, enjoy, again another great reaction thanks.
