This is not hard…20,000 hours of practice plus 20 years of training and swimming underwater…easy peasy….tai quan do…soccer…. ….. …..singing between conversations….full commitment….endless drive….careful diet…no alcohol….no drugs….loving it absolutely… And he is completely happy in his circumstances, and loves everyone he comes across. How many people can do this really….??? Remember that this is his destiny, and his grandmother predicted it before he was born. He was put here…at this time…to be a remedy from the depressions of life and government for all the world who could be helped by the power…healing power of beautiful musical frequencies…delivered in a fashion not seen before…but now that we know just what is possible….what does the future hold for music and singers? I was at his concert in Düsseldorf on 9th of April. It was epic, just epic.

Sadly, you reacted to the performance where there was something wrong with Dimash’s mic. The performance where Dimash sang Adagio in The Singer competition 2017, has to be one of the greatest performances by any artist, of ALL time!

I didn’t notice a problem…where was it in the song? I thought it was great even if there were problems. Also love the Singer version.

I always enjoy watching you react to Dimash, Christof, but was disappointed that this wasn't the incredible 2017 performance of "Adagio," that he performed on the Chinese reality talent show, The Singer. That particular performance has been called the greatest vocal performance of our time by some (including me!) while this one paled in comparison, largely due to the problems Dimash was having with his microphone. I hope you will eventually find the time to react to---or at least to view---the aforementioned video. Every Dimash performance--including the one you just watched--is stellar, but "Adagio 2017" is one for the ages.

I agree, Doug. But I also think the video recording of Dimash's live rehearsal of "Adagio" for this same event, 2018 New Wave in Sochi, rivals his vocal performance in the "Singer" competition. Watching the rehearsal, it's almost impossible to believe that it's in the same venue, there's such a huge difference without the sound problems. (There was a lot of controversy that Dimash's sound had been deliberately sabotaged for the actual performance. Dimash seemed to imply it, though Kanat said it wasn't proven). @@Snarky_Tart Yes, I've always enjoyed that one as well. He always takes his rehearsals seriously and performs his songs professionally during them. What happened on stage in front of an audience was unfortunate--whether intentional or not---but he handled it so well that most viewers didn't even notice. That's Dimash for you.
