I was part of the British continentals for 3 years running, (lighting tech) this song holds a special place in my heart, great to hear it again, praise God

George sent me! Gosh, memories! The Continentals came to our church in Los Gatos many times when I was young. I remember my parents singing this song with our church choir. 😢. Sweet memories.

I have a cassette tape of this album. I listened to it every day when I had to stay home from school when I had the chicken pox, probably in 1978 or 1979. Love it. My favorite album. I had memorized all the songs. I still have the cassette, but it is in bad condition. So glad to get to listen to it again here.

I played the Flute with the Continentals in 1976 and 1977! Brings back so many wonderful memories. In 1976 we went the UK and in 1977 we went to the South Pacific. I toured under Johnny Johnson! Love EVERY minute of it!

I remember and loved listening to the Continentals! They would visit our church. Wow, I’m old.

this album was a constant companion when I first came to Jesus in 1980. I am so delighted to hear it again. Makes me feel young again too. By the way, I still remember all the words to the songs. Love it. Thank you so much.

Im a Mary M too.I put Jesus back in my life in 1980 as well. This cassette album was constantly Playing at my house My children were plenty sick of it. I recall all the words but cant sing as well as I used too. I heard He is Alive on the radio and I listened to that radio Until I heard it again so I could catch name of song. When I did I went straight to town to buy it. Loved it ever since.

Wow! My favourite favourite songs of my favourite Group, this is the Group that came on tour to Samoa 1978 and that night I gave my life to Jesus through their concert. Never ever forget, so spirit-filled and uplifting thank God for this ministry that brought me to God. Getting me closer to God all the time I listen to these inspirational songs...so blessed!!!!

Ik geloof dat velen zullen beamen dat dit geweldige muziek is en nooit uit onze gospeldenken weg te bannen is! Ze waren een groot voorbeeld voor veel koren en groepen.

I can still remember well that in the early 1980s they performed on a Sunday on a large lawn in South Rotterdam (the Netherlands). I was there with my parents and brother, I was about 10 years old at the time. We bought a music cassette, most likely of this recording. It was also nice weather then because it was in the open air.

I love to hear this wonderful blessed choir! Such a long time ago, in 1977 in great Britain I met the continental singers and 1980 in Germany I heard and met the choir live too ! To hear ' HE'S ALIVE ' these wonderful story. Thank you so much for sharing.

This music takes me back to when I was a child. My mother would buy those old cassette tapes and play it over and over again.

Thank you for bringing back the Continental singers. As I was beginning pilot training this music is amazing above the clouds and sometimes going supersonic speeds. This music really makes you feel close to God

Human kind rise as we are guided in righteousness, Jesus yoke is light let your heart embrace goodness do good for your brothers & sisters... Thank you, Oebele, for posting these albums. I was a Continental (trumpeter) in 1985, 1987, 1988 and 1990. Then, in 1992 I directed two tours. The ministry was wonderful and I miss it very much.

I was 12 in 1985 in Anderson Indiana & got to see the group at a First Baptist Church. I'd been raised with this vinyl in the house and then we bought the CD of "Together We Will Stand"after that concert. Much appreciate your service.

Love the song "Ordinary People."

Been looking for this album for years. Thank you so much for sharing.

My tour 1979. Tour A. U.S. and Canada. We sang on the Canadian TBN. The camera liked me. Yes, I was a beauty. The first youngest tour. Nice experience for this small town girl.

Wow! This brought back some great memories. I was a teenager when our church hosted this group. I forgot I knew every song word for word. Thank you for posting. God is so amazing! Everything in His own time.

I haven't heard this since about 1983! Now it's 2019 and Trump's President. "And the Trumpets shall sound..." Interesting times indeed,

Whew! this brings me back. I was on Tour "G" in '78 (Great Britain + Belgium & Netherlands). Great to hear from a few whose lives were changed by this. Quite the vision God gave Cam Floria & great to hear how God is faithful to ensure His Word does not return to Him void.

Wow... my brother Chris was the sound/light guy for the Continentals in the 70s....we went to every concert we could drive to they were in the US...he went to Samoa, Figi, etc. I loved the dresses of the girls and suits of the men.... whatever happened to them?

In 1978 the Continental Singers came to Ely Nevada. We the Nelsons were blessed with hosting some of the Singers in our home. We have 5 children four girls & 1 boy. Anna was about 2 at the time, I was holding my baby & Anna got away from me ran front & center stage, started trying to do cartwheel. Everyone thought she was so cute. Me I was so embarrassed. My husband had to go get her of course she didn’t want to get off the strange.

Oebele Vries Beste Oebele, ik heb bijna alle lp's van the Continental Singers, want ons koor de Asaf-Zingers zong hier heel liederen van, en ik ben 2x in Rotterdam geweest, maar dan met Amerikaaanse Continentals, en 1x in Zaandam, mijn woonplaats. Dit is de boodschap brengen en een goede evangelisatie.

Lakena Yan Lan Forgot to mention that the group that performed these songs, when they came on tour to American Samoa, they stayed with us when my parents Pastored the LMS church in Pava'ia'i...touched my heart and impacted my life as a musician!!...it's one of the reasons why I feel the strong connection with the Continental Singers!!! I miss the Continental Singers tremendously!! I thank God for all the work they did, that touched & renewed sooooooooo many lives around the world!! Glory to God!!! Hallelujah to Jesus!!!
