Such sweet memories when in college and growing in my faith in Jesus!

By now i am soaking on God’s word. Late part of the 80s I was praying to have a godly husband, i married unbeliever i prayed for a family who serve God after 25 years he accepted Lord Jesus Christ ...after 2 years he became our pastor. I am serving God with the whole of my family w 5 children. Praise God our family is into intentional discipleship bringing people Back to God.

Hi Greg - my name is Rene' Utech. I was w the Continentals in 1976. I loved it! I recently discovered these on u tube. I am so happy to have found this for bc my albums are long gone. I really like this album as well as the year I went Majesty & Glory!!

So amazing....the songs are very inspiring.... The LORD JESUS CHRIST is being Magnified. I'm praying that this songs will be part of Regular Church Hymns.

I'll searched such a long time for that second song "Because of whose I'm" 🙏 it was a part of my childhood ❤!!!!! The Continentals are so important for me they was a part of my life🙏🤗 and they are still a part of me

Real music! So inspiring for me in those years. My sons grew up with me playing these albums in my car as I drove them to school. Now, three weeks ago, my oldest son, mike, 54, just died and is now with the Lord. Sister Jay

What a loss to miss your son. I pray for much strength for the time to come. But what a joy to know that he is now with the Lord. Many people gave their hearts to the Lord after listening to this music. I hope that the seed sown will bear much fruit. God bless you!!!

I've been looking for this album for 23 Year, couldn't believe that i sang every song, including the musical cords. I had forgotten the name of the album and artist as i was young when we lost all my dad's LPs. I'm happy that someone else has found the joy is this album. Stay blessed!

Life changing!

Precious memories ! They came to France in the early 80's. I had bought the album. Lost it. "Little Child", the best among the best, sang by this wonderful colored young man. "We shall behold Him", what a blessed song ! Sang by a plump beautiful lady. O how much I would like to see them again. Blessed people. Ok ok, I am out of words !

Best album by Continental Singers ever. Thank you for bringing good memories and tears to my eyes remembering the choir I usedd to lead.

Wonderful and full of love for our great and wonderful LORD Jesus!

A few years ago, I was speaking to myself saying, "how comes, "I feel so happy and my heart would burst with joy whenever I help someone" ? Immediately, a voice answered, "that's how God feels". I asked, "that's how God feels ? The voice answered, "yes". Everytime I thought about this converstion, the song, "He is as close as the mention of His name", always comes to my mind, sung by the continentals, although I had lost the songs more than 25 yrs ago! When I thought, I was speaking to myself, He was there, so close, so very close and more than close !

Thanks Cam!!!!! Continentals bring a new thinks to my life!!!!

This was my first experience with Christian music that didn't come out of a hymnal. It was the summer of 1986 in Yosemite National Park, and a young man gave me a copy of this on a cassette. I played it until it wore out. I wish I could still buy it. Listening to this brings back such wonderful memories.

This album takes me back to Bible College years. Thank you for posting this.

I been looking for these songs, Thank you so much I found it. I always searching for the songs for our choir every Sunday. I just hope for the minus one. God bless to all.

I just became aware that my mom prepared the way for me to meet Jesus by taking me to see The Continental Singers in Semarang, Indonesia, in the summer of 1982. In 1995, on her death bed, I asked her to ask Jesus to come into her life.

@@oebelevries my mother had a very hard life, a very proud woman. She knew I was a christian and saw the changes in my life. She was on life support, in a comma, a day after going into surgery for stomach cancer. I chose to believe that God’s gracious love guided her in ways that I could not. I knew she heard my voice. I asked her to stay until my husband came (from out of town). As soon as he arrived, mom passed on. I believe she went to Jesus.
