Sinclair Ferguson: United with Christ

John 17 features our Savior’s praying for His people and their unity, and this unity is grounded in union and communion with Christ-Christ in us and us in Christ. In this message, Dr. Sinclair Ferguson looks at the doctrine of our union and communion with our Savior, explaining how He is the source of all the benefits of salvation and how a true grasp of our union with Him helps us stand firm in this dark world.

You are so right - those who don't/won't hear the WORD of God through this faithful servant, are missing such a blessing. As a fundamentalist, I bask in this man's exposition of the Gospel - too few of us about. God bless you and your family, in Christ.

Sinclair Ferguson describes our new identity. We are members of the Body of Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:12-13: 12 For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. Paul writes about "The Body of Christ" not about "The Bride of Christ". There is no such thing in the New Testament.
