Sincerely, Me (Colton Ryan and Ben Platt) | Dear Evan Hansen (2021) | TUNE
Фильм және анимация
Evan Hansen (Ben Platt) and his friend Jared (Nik Dodani) begin to write fake emails from Connor (Colton Ryan) in order to make their friendship appear real in 'Sincerely Me'.
What is Dear Evan Hansen (2021) about?
A screen adaptation of the hit Broadway musical, Tony, Grammy and Emmy award winning Ben Platt (Pitch Perfect films) reprises his role as Evan Hansen, an anxious, isolated high-school student who's aching for understanding and belonging amid the chaos and cruelty of the social media age. He soon embarks on a journey of self-discovery when a letter he wrote for a writing exercise falls into the hands of a grieving couple whose son took his own life.

I think it could’ve been better, but yeah, it’s not the best. I mean, I like it, but the Broadway version is probably better. (I haven’t watched it on broadway yet haha)
I understand people want a younger person to play evan, but I still believe platt was amazing for how old he really is, even though it couldve been thought as creepy, i just love platts voice

I could be totally wrong, but it might have something to do with the fact that Larry was changed to Connor's STEP-DAD in the movie after they cast Danny Pino. Zoe even refers to Larry by his first name rather than "Dad."

One Dad deserted the family. The other Dad is a Stepdad which seldom gets a lot of affection.
The ending of this song gives me "I can't believe, that it's finally me and you, and you and me. Just us, and your friend Steve" vibes

I’m so glad this is on YT! Definitely my favorite song from the movie
As someone who hasn't watch the stage play, this movie was very good for me. Some scene was very hard to watch, but otherwise I felt like they had a proper resolution.
i like how you can here the sticks hit and the shoes hit the table like it’s a musical
Has been hard... Has been bad... Has Been ROUGH!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Best of Conners lines!!!! He threw so much sass into that!!! I love it!!!
I just saw Colton Ryan in New York New York. It was absolutely amazing! Probably ok if my favorite broadway shows
"Please stop" 🤣
OK BUT WHAT IS THAT NAUGHTY FACE IN THE BEGINNING 0:12

why did he hit the woah
The movies Music track is louder than their voices and im so annoyed by that, i feel i can barely hear their singing
Visuals and choreography aside (cuz tbh it wasn't THAT bad), WHY IS THE AUDIO SO WEIRD? like I'm rlly no expert in mixing but why does it sound so off? the volume for connor and jared especially, when you put it together it sounds so different. then for some shots, I think they used a mic on set and not in the recording booth, so when evan spins around you can hear his voice fading then coming back, but for other shots it's recording booth audio? it isn't even consistent I'm so sad

It looks and feels like the movie was rushed. It's the crazy thing about movies and film... Movie goers might forgive (or barely notice) poor cinematography, acting, ECT... But when it comes to sound almost everyone will notice. The sound in this is just terrible.

I think I was one of the few people who annoyed the film but the audio quality got to me. Especially in words fail

Not to mention the instrumental is way too loud. I can hear that better than the singing half the time.

no cause i was thinking this same thing, in waving through a window you can clearly hear ben’s voice over the instrumental but here, when all 3 of them sing the instrumental overpowers the vocals. and this is coming from someone who listens to instrumentals more than songs w/vocals
I swear I can't get over how much even sounds like kermit the frog 😭😭
So I've never watched this movie but I keep coming back to watching this song. I'm pretty sure it's to realization of me being smitten with the actor playing Connor
bro did the woah☠️☠️
WHY TF DID HE HIT THE WOAH ON A TABLE????
