Thank you for the subtitles as I am deaf. I find one of the best things to do to prevent fame decay is to update instagram and when your charisma is high enough to update social media status. Especially if you are not pursueing fame that day. Am making note of what you consider major fame gains (like getting gold in an acting gig). Thanks again for sharing.

My Sim is a writer and I maxed her skill out a long time ago. I had her write & publish 35 (I think) books that varied between Excellent and Best Seller and she was an instant Global Superstar as soon as she published all her books. I did pick the Noticable route on the Fame Perks to help establish her.

Buying a drone and having it stream while your sim is just doing stuff will give you a constant stream of new fame - until the drone needs to fill up again.

The noticeable perk is something I'll make a note of since I plan on having a few sims go out in public to earn fame.

Yeah, it's a big help when performing in public. Gives way more fame. I would entirely recommend against playing for tips as a way of gaining fame if it weren't for that perk.

The easiest way I have found is to stream something (on the drone) that would be a fame-generating activity anyway. e.g. Streaming while your Sim paints generates loads of fame points. Once you can get the ability to ‘Donate to a fan’, get it! It’s a good way to get rid of all that extra cash and the best way to boost fame quickly. Just buy a bunch of expensive stuff like the golden toilet and donate them all. Poof! 5 stars!

Get a drone. Except for bedroom and bathroom activities, stream everything all the time. Add fame perks as you get them to boost fame when buildings skills. My sim became a 5 star celeb in a couple weeks.

One of my older sims family has 2 daughters. The oldest daughter's father is father winter. He is not a member of household. After installing get famous the daughter shows up in the map list as selectable. But she is gone in the game. Family tree shows no sign of her either. Wonder if it's a bug tied to father winters kids. All my other sims playthrus are fine.

Its a useful guidance! But have to say get famous got so many bugs as of now, like you cant get the doubled paycheck if you're the 5-star celeb and you join the actor career; also there's a glitch that nothing happens after you establish your own business or lifestyle brand something online also when you're at the 5-star.. and also one of the major bugs of the street sales still exists... those npcs just stand for a while front of the street gallery and later just go away... :( Not so satisfied with their update

I hate how you can not approach a star. Your sim act crazy "star struck" and will not complete their given task. If your sim is the star, your other sims can not approach them.

Imagine having the ability to literally summon grilled cheese sandwiches out of thin air and never be able to become famous for it

It’s weirdly unrealistic, because I do the athlete career and I am the team captain, but I am completely unknown, even though in real life millions would know who the team captain of a sports team is, like, come one EA

I've noticed that some careers give a bit of fame every day you go to work, like professional athlete, musician and comedian. But it's pretty tiny, and only happens when you're like, level 5 and above, I think. (My level 10 professional athlete sim got to 2 stars, but admittedly she also gets a boost from living in a celebrity home. It doesn't hurt that she's already got 1 star from being in the university soccer team.)

I used cheats to get all fame perks and.... There is a lot of people and paparazzi and it guarantee autographs

Donate to charities and do good things, then you'll see people noticing the good tasks you do

stiil sims fame little different in sims 3 they gain Celebrity points ever that fame they still winner do to last installment sims 3 into into the future descendants system one thing none insaalment can owned ways grain Celebrity points darly fame better ??? between sims 3 late night slowest goes up Carreer yo give thought singing you never lost fame ever as vampie you stay as Celebrity forever here you leave anytime
