How long did this take 😅

If there was ever something from the Sims that I needed in real life, it's this tree

I havent finished watching yet but instead of taking cuttings from the tree, when its ready to harvest put it in your inventory instead. The fruits then go into the inventory and you can plant each one for even more money trees!

the money tree fruit does not go in to your inventory unless you graft it to another plant.

That is my method too. To put it in my inventory for seeds to plant more money tree. I didn't know about grafting. I like that idea too. When I graft high value fruit I use fast growing plants, like parsley, it grows super fast. And I graft the same plant again again. This way, I can get up to 9 high value fruit and 1 parsley every time it grows.

I found this out by accident. My sim best friend was a klepto, so when she came over one time, I put the tree away in the household inventory. It was such a nice surprise to see the individual fruits.

Yeah you killed the money tree. I usually leave it a few days between taking cuttings. I like to use onion plants to graft, they seem to give you a lot of harvestables. You can revive dead plants when you have level 10 gardening. Perfect money fruit give double the amount. Keep fertilizing them. Fertilize plants with roses or something else worth > $20 for quicker results. Outdoor plants grow quicker.

The Super Fruit is perfect for that. Worth §50 for normal quality. The best result to worth is with plants worth §50.

I made millions with money trees. My sim has 5 money trees in a greenhouse, they grow all year long, I bought the trait of being a good gardener along with the money fruit, the first one and each tree gives me around 34,000 a day. When I take a vacation or I’m not fast enough to harvest, the butler picks the fruits up and they end up in my house inventory.

If you harvest the seeds and not the money, you can sell them from the Entrepreneur's Table at a 300% markup. It's a lot more money in the long run.

You cant take more than 2 cuttings before the plant dies, then wait a bit before the next cutting. Also as others said, when the money tree is ready to colect, go to buildmode put it in your inventary and that gets you the fruit. I have the theory that with seasons, since the money tree doesn't have a "season" beneffits from being sheltered, just a theory.

Found a money fruit while dumpster diving once a few months back (quite some luck that was), with the main member of the household i'm currently playing. Planted that, bought another money tree before i knew to put it in the inventory to get the fruit, did with the second & have four of them now from that. And with them being at the top condition, i get 88,000 something simoleans by harvesting all of them each time, so it is very profitable. Along with the growth rate & that they grow all year round, you'll be loaded in no time.

Plant the money tree, then, plant some other plant next to it. Make that as close as possible. When your Sim's gardening skill is high enough to harvest several plants at once, harvesting all will also harvest the money fruits. Then, it's very easy to get 50+ money trees... Sell all to collect more than §1 000 000 per day.

You can use the Burtie's Bee Box to enhance the quality of your plants faster. The bees can pollinate the plants for you.

I had a money tree only once and it died, even though I looked after it every day. I didn't have enough reward points to get another. Genius idea to take cuttings. Inspired to have another go. Great video

With gardening skill at 10, you can revive dead plants. It will cost some §§, but, it's worth the expanse. A spell caster who have the Herbio spell can also revive any dead plant. Bonus : That plant is now ready to evolve if it was not already of the perfect quality. I think that plant Sims can also revive dead plants. Need to check with aliens... Maybe, just maybe.

i have used the money tree and you can put the tree in your household inv. and get 5 cash trees{after harvsetable}. i didnt know about grafting! awesome trick Brit!! sorry me not good at spell or that spellcheck pc thingy. you have to spell close to right and.. well... im not a good speller\caster hahaha

When I take cuttings of the money tree, I'll graft it to something that's always in season like a sage bush or lemon tree because you don't need the greenhouse for that. Also, as many others have said, you can put the tree into your household inventory and the fruit will pop off of it, giving you more fruit to plant but you do lose a day's harvest doing that. If you're short on reward points and don't want to cheat for them, you can sometimes buy money fruit during the Finchwick Fair or find them through Dumpster Diving. Also Spellcasters can use the CopyPasto spell on both the Money Fruit and the Trees...

Love the money tree! I usually start my sims with only the $20k the game gives for one sim, but eventually, they all end up rich in the end because of the wonderful money tree!🥰

I had a garden full of Excellent Quality Money Tree's and they were producing 22,000 each a day.

Gardening is one of the quickest ways to get rich from in Sims 4. Dragon fruit is another great plant. I think Bird of Paradise or orchid s is another. Though Money Trees are the best. One of my Sims gets 22,000 every morning from just one tree.

The most my Sims have made from the money tree is literarily endless, because I kept harvesting & 400.000 and stocking it in the Get Famous vault.

I used to use money trees as my moneymaking scheme for the 100 Baby Challenge. with that money and a bit of writing, I was able to have my matriarch never have to lift a finger to earn money again and buy a huge house for herself and her children. I had the teens help with the gardening which gave them skills for school, and even the children can do gardening so that also helped. great video! 😃

Very interesting, I've never used the money tree, I like the rags 2 riches struggle, but I should play around with this a bit, maybe do the $1 million scenario and see how far you can push this.

I used to have my spellcaster sim learn the Copypasto spell and cast it on the money plant to magically create more 😅

What I've noticed is that a love the outdoors loner who likes gardening is actually a very powerful combination. They don't need much socialising to begin with, but when they do, they might as well just talk to plants and get their social up while enjoying the solitude moodlet.

With a big garden of moneytrees you can make milions (up to the cap of 9.999.999 simoleons) with one megasell, I usually avoid them because its just cheating money in the end and can even destroy the fun of a gameplay. nice video btw. keep them comeing, love ya.

The money tree is my primary way to get money I usually just befriend a witch that knows copypasto and make about ten trees and then a sim with the gift of sulani to boost the plants quality and it gives me 22000 for every tree

Purchase Patchy the strawman and he will give you gardening skill and seeds every day after you talk to him a couple of times which also cover your social needs.

i think to recall at a perfect tree its like 22k a day atm my vamp witch has 12 trees which gives 177k and 88k on supersell just say she is max money and stays that way ps great soil lot trait does not work for everyone and can cause your plants to return to dirt piles so if u use it and you notice plants went back to dirt piles try turning the trait off

I've tried to grow a money tree a while back but for some reason the seed wasn't in my sims inventory. I've even looked in the house inventory but nada. So I gave up on that try and never bothered. Perhaps I'll give it a try again. Thanks for making this video 💜

My family matriarch has a money tree and each kid got a seed when they started there wn families and so on. If they killed it that's on them. Lol

During my 100 baby challenge I spliced my money sends with everything and made a fortune. Think I was at like, 12 kids and stopped because I had so much money it felt like it wasn’t a challenge 😂

I avoid using the money tree when I play Rags to Riches because it feels cheaty. Once, when one of my sims moved house, I placed the tree in my inventory and got 5 seeds which really feels cheaty. 🤣Did I plant them? Of course, I did! I am not sure if they fixed this glitch or not. Also, the higher level of the tree, the more simoleans you get.

I physically cringed when she took too many cuttings 😭i learned that tha hard way. 2 is the limit and you shouldn't even take that much. You cant do more than 2 at a time. Take 1 or 2 then come back another day so it has regrowth

if your sim is a Magic you can Copey the tree...as many times as you like

I had no clue there was a money tree in this game! I knew there was in The Sims 3; I had one of my Sims grow like two of them, but I didn't know EA put it in The Sims 4 as well. But is there a particular pack it comes with?

How do you get greenhouses to work? They never work in my game.

How much money can you make from the money tree ? A LOT ! Place another plant close enough to one and you can «accidentally» harvest it's fruits when harvesting all. You can take a cutting and graft it on any other plant. You'll be able to harvest those and plant them. So, buy a single one from the reward store, and you can get a whole orchard of money trees. Then them and have them evolve to get even more §§§§ Why bother with planters ? You can plant anywhere there is ground. They are non-seasonal. Place one just next to each money tree. Sage is another nice plant to plant next to a money tree. You MUST wait at least a day after taking a cutting, or a sample for the microscope, before taking another, or, you kill the plant. The Herbio spell will revive any dead plant AND make it ready to evolve. The option to cast it on a plant ONLY appear for dead plants. The cheat that you need to revive a plant is one of the evolution options. A gardening bug can cause any plant to revert to «Mature» and get stuck there for ever. Symptoms : Plant don't give fruits ; if ready to evolve, no option to evolve ; shift clicking it won't show the «Spawn fruit (debug)» option. Need to use a cheat to fix : Set any affected plant to «Blooming». Your «dead» plants that revived are plants that got hit with the gardening bug that cause plants to revert to just planted. That same thing happened to your lemon trees.

If you had planted it inside, it would have grown way faster!
