I sit here listening to some music and Holding On plays. It’s such a great piece of music that I sit and play it over again and over again and again. It’s March3, 2024 and this is going strong!

I remember when I was young, my mom loved Dean Martin because she said he opened his mouth and without any effort the music rolled out, that is what I see with Mick. No effort, just rolls out. Luv it Mick ❤❤❤❤

I always thought that this wonderful singer was Simply Red. Never heard that his name is Mick Hucknall (sp) and that the group is Simply Red.

he might be in his 70's now but, that voice is just as magnificent as it was back in the day.

Saw Simply Red live in december 2016. I'd bought two tickets and my hubby didn't want to see him live :( So, i took another friend, whose husband had died a year previously. We had a fantastic time and his voice is astonishing! So glad I didn't miss it. And very happy Mick's found a lovely wife and has kids now. He deserves every happiness!

Simply Red, of the best 80's bands ever. His voice is crystal clear every song. This band is so tight and I must say one of the most impressive live versions that I have ever heard. They can Rock! But there music is just simply amazing! Love this band. Brings back days at the China Club In NY back in the 80's.

This is one of those rare, timeless songs that reminded you of what was to come before you actually lived it. Holding back the years came out when I was around 21. Even then, at such a young age, whenever I heard that song I knew it was speaking of things I would eventually experience later on in life.

I watched simply red preform at the entertainment center in 1987 and then met Mick at the Melbourne Underground VIP room in 1989 Beautiful gentle guy who had the time to meet and greet us teeny boppers back then 😢

I love Country Music but I love this music 🎶 so much because it’s calming.❤

This music helps me through my day, we will never every here music like this ever again in this life time Mick AKA Simply Red he has a voice that is totally Awesome he can SANG!!!! His ass off the man is just always on fire with his songs, I would love to see him in Concert, this music that’s out know, it’s just a total Mess I really feel sorry for this Generation know, because what they are listening know its definitely a hot ass mess.

I had the pleasure of being at this performance….in Cuba. Pure love all around. Sending love to Havana from Miami & NYC. Missing everything
