My father was (retired now) a commercial fisherman, on a boat similar to this one, although much smaller and I have to say, you got the rust perfect. When I would go to the warf with my father to check the boat (he was Captain and when the boat was docked for a bit, it needed to be checked for leaks and to make sure the engine still started and since he was the Captain, it was his job. I would go with him a lot of the times), I would see boats with varying degrees of rust, not as much as this boat but the dock workers continually work on the boats to remove rust or try to prevent it from getting really bad, salt water is so corrosive. You got the areas were rust starts to form and the pattern of rust perfectly. Reminds me of when I was little and went to the warf with my father.

Can't wait to see how beautiful this boat worksout. Have you thought of doing two versions of the orca and jaws and the men on the boat or when jaws getting on the back end of the orca and has the captain and another version of the orca sunk under the water and jaws swinging around it. And making jaws look like he's 25 foot long
