A quick note over here :- According to the video, not all the information given is true. In particular, it is not always true that you can only apply the properties of logarithms when the bases are the same. The video argues that you can use the change of base formula even when the bases are not the same. The change of base formula states that log a ​ (b)= log x ​ (a) log x ​ (b) ​ , where a , b , and x are any positive numbers and a  =1 , b  =1.
