What's brotha i really dig this cut. I have a question. I'm not a license barber but I've been doing my own and familys hair since mid 90's and for some reason i learned to fade but from top down. Meaning that if I know that on top is in number 3 open I then create a guideline about half an inch above the ear with my balding clippers then I put on my 3 again but this time in the closed position and then I start blending down from the top from the 3 closed then I go to the number 2 open then the number 2 close then the number 1 open and then the number 1 closed until that line that I made initially is gone so that's it just one guideline am I doing something wrong or is this just my way of doing it? I know there is more than one way to skin a cat.

Nab vK Bro I'd first use detainers or any trimmers for that matter to see if get the closeness you're looking for, before making any adjustments to your trimmers. Liners/trimmers are usually the only tools we don't attach guards which means using the trimmers you have to know what your "touch" is. Just a suggestion man. 💈❤️
