What is Hartly oscillator

The Hartley oscillator utilizes a combination of an inductor and a capacitor in a specific configuration to create a resonant tank circuit. This tank circuit, along with an active device such as a transistor or vacuum tube, produces the desired oscillations. The Hartley oscillator is commonly used in radio frequency (RF) applications due to its simplicity and versatility. It offers good frequency stability and can operate at higher frequencies.
