Over five minutes into the video before getting to green reading, the video topic.

So many instructional videos take way too much time telling you what not to do instead of what to do. I left video before end.

Thanks, Kerrod. Great instructions. I usually will hit that putt 3-5 feet down past the hole, and it drives me crazy. looking forward to implementing your advice.

Putted on this practice green a couple of years ago when I visited my son, who lives in Perth…one of the hardest practice greens I have ever putted on!!

As one of Kerrod's students that has had this lesson in person, I can attest that it immediately improved my putting overall. Do I make everything, of course not, but this method simplifies the process and allows you to generate way better feel

I really enjoyed this video and I’m going to try the technique out next time I play. One question: if the putt is going to break a lot, don’t you need to hit it a bit harder because it has longer to travel than if you struck it right at the cup on an otherwise flat lie?

I was also frequently pulling my irons long and left. I'm not sure this was the exact video I found that explained the problem and solution, but it is one of no doubt many that covers the topic. kzread.info/dash/bejne/lXd6rbGSh7m6pag.html The solution looked odd on video, but worked for me in practice. Good luck to you.

Good video. I would have closed out on your 3-putt comments from the beginning. That is, try to determine when to aim for the hole and when to aim close to the hole.

This process seems to take quite a bit of time and would be difficult when pressed by the foursome behind. How long would you suggest this should reasonably take?

Hi, mate! Most of your green reading should be done by the time you get to the ball. All up it should take 10-15 seconds at most. Thank you, anyway!

The first five and a half minutes say “you’re not likely to make long putts anyway, so simply try to get it close enough for a guaranteed second putt.”

is it ever acceptable to say this putt breaks right instead of saying left to right.

like if all green in the world are a perfect lope disc of 360 degrees!!!!! 90% of the times there is more than 2 break on a hole......

I have to disagree. Most amateur golfers hit their first putt too short.
