SIMPLE Way To Add KEYLESS Entry To Your BMW E36 [M3] - How To Install

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This is one of those small but extremely cool mods! I'm stoked with this! It feels like I brought the E36 M3 project car up to the 2000's, lol.
Head over to MSportParts.Com to pick this up for your E36!
*Please know, you're only going to get the key fob when you order this. You'll have to source the harness and module : www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from...

For clarification I only offer the remotes, which have been rare/expensive till now. Modules, harness, and the siren are found on eBay or your local junk yard! 👍 Thank you for the pairing process tutorial, Jordan ❤️

Thanks for the video I just ordered a set of 2. I lost my original remote so I hope this works! I saw some on eBay but prefer my money to go to someone in the car community.

I feel like I should share a problem I figured out. if you follow his procedure and the fob won’t link up make sure your door striker isnt bad or worn out. It lets the computer/anti theft know the doors are closed and will roll the windows all the way up. Other wise this will cause the pairing process to not work bc it believes either door is still open. Also check fuses 7, 35 and 43 For central locking.

I was just as excited when I got a keyfob from brett. Everything was already installed on the car, but I did not have a keyfob... It only took me like 20 attempts to get it to program though lol. I think I was turning the key on off to quick. Your car must not have the alarm horn installed, mine makes that oh so nice 90's chirp lol.

He warned me pairing could be tricky! I don't have the alarm horn but I think I may snag one...add it to the parts list, lol! It's supposed to be shrinking but it keeps growing! 😂

My 97 M3 has the red indicator light like yours and my entry FOB is some cheap plastic looking one that doesn’t look anything like yours. I’m wondering if I have the keyless entry module already in and just need to buy the new FOB.
