Simple Steps to Improve Your Marriage - Matt & Lisa Jacobson

Matt and Lisa believe small, everyday decisions to love your spouse can transform your marriage. They discussed the importance of listening, warmly greeting your spouse, planning quality time together, and refraining from sarcastic comments. The Jacobsons also advised couples to set up safeguards to protect their marriage. They end the program by offering hope to couples who are on the brink of divorce.

I was in an uber going home from work and my driver blessed me with this. He said. "Wives already love, that is why they are called to submit. They have a hard time giving their desire to lead to their husbands. Husbands have a hard time loving, that is why they are called to love their wives. That doesn't come naturally."

I have these books. Hubby wouldn't read his but I tried to do some from mine to break out of the gutter a bit. I read the hubby book and saw how much he was already doing which helped me identify things I took for granted.

A wonderful marriage comes out of a lot choices to love you more than I love me... Says it all. Yeah, jokes at your own experience NOT your wife's. I also love being aware that your marriage is a treasure--it must be protected.

Listening is key,. My wife easily gets upset if you don't agree with her. Unless she specifically ask for advise, it often best to confirm your hearing and be empathetic

In western culture marriages are based on "Feelings". So if your spouse doesn't feel it, that marriage starts to collapse. That's why divorce rate is very high even in Christian marriages in America.

There are many components to improving your partnership. One plan I discovered which succeeds in merging these is the Pavs Partner Pundit (google it if you're interested) without a doubt the most useful blueprint that I have ever seen. Check out all the amazing info .

So he shammed her for not gushing over him like she did for a girlfriend who she doesn't see every day? Unreasonable! If a woman said something like to her husband like he did to her, she would be labeled as needy, or a complainer, or a b!&%$. But he can do it, and she is immediately shammed and convicted. Glad I ain't married to that guy!
