Sure does make a layout come alive

That's what I use, works very well, and easy to camo, one tip I would mention, you don't have to wait for the glue to set, just touch the feet to square and pick it up, the square will follow, and for group scenes, use bigger squares

A few companies make these squares, but so much cheaper to make your own... nicely done.

I've used those paint chips you get in the paint store and cut them and glued people to them. Your idea is much better.

Yeah, it's a great way of utilising waste packaging. I'm in the process of doing another load of these little people myself Dave. They really add life to the layout. Happy Modelling

I have a lot of ancient figures with the moulded on base lol, I just glue them to the sidewalk or platform, I also have some chinese freestanding ones which I repaint, cut the legs off of and use as bus and coach filler

I do this exact thing w/mine. It's truly one of the best ways in town/city scenes. Another way is to glue figures to simple flat head thumbtacks (painted green). I use those for areas with a lot of trees on the foam board base (forests,parks,etc.) and then i carefully apply static grass to the bases around the feet.

Dave, ever heard of CA glue accelerator? It is a spray that makes the CA glue set instantly.

I printed them myself. Files from thingiverse.

NOW just remember not to vacum them up when you clean !!!
