I can't believe how easy the pros make it look. I've never been able to catch anything on a senko with the exception of 1 on a wacky rig in my entire life

Fishing it too fast. That was my mistake too. Very key to fish it slow. Takes alot of patience for us active fishermen who would rather catch them on a crankbait or nice underspin jig. The bigger fish though will indeed bite the slower presentations from my experience.

Also give it some slack. I would always reel when I retrieve it but that keeps tension on it. Pull it up and just let it do its thing. The natural drop is what triggers them to bite!

Really wow the senko is my idiot bait. With no weight throw it literally against the sides of stumps and in lil holes of grass and just let it sink. And sit there. The weight is relative to the wind and depth if it’s crazy deep or windy then use more weight relative to the wind and conditions. If it’s dead still use no weights and then add weight slowly.

I enjoy the RG channel and learn every time! Smaller bodies of water are under the same regs as larger ones. This leads to areas being over-fished and depleted entirely. If coca-pepsi-pepper builds a bottling plant & wants a million gallons of water a day it is merely that as good for jobs/economy and the natural world does not matter. That is sad!

I dont mind ppl enjoying the sport, but i do mind when they go in and trash it up with beer cans and worm containers. They also keep undersized fish,
