Back in 2008 I discovered this song with one of the best friends I ever had and his name is Mohammed Semane. Me and him were so close as friends and we didn’t have internet at home, so we would go to the cyber cafe and just discover and listen Simple plan songs and this one was the best ❤️ In 2018, he disappeared and he stopped hanging out with me 💔 If you are reading this my friend, just know that I love you still brother. 1998-2001 was the best time for me. Best shows, best gadgets, best of friends.... list goes on. Basically, anything before the era when cell phones were only used by people who can afford it. Time when people were not so sensitive to jokes and no one got cancelled. People still felt like they were united and pizza hut was still good.

First time I heard this song was during a very hard time in my life. I lost the majority of my childhood due to a very abusive father and a neglectful mother. I used to avoid listing to this song because it would always remind me of how miserable I was. Now that I'm an adult I started enjoying listen to this song. My life isn't perfect but it's way better than it was when I was a child. 👍

I’m sorry to hear that. I had a pretty verbally and occasionally physically abusive dad and a pretty neglectful mother. One of my few solaces was in music. Oddly enough, because I came from a good Christian household, the majority of music wasn’t allowed. Still they could only shield me so much. I’m glad to hear your doing better.

I feel this alone since i was a kid. Nothing changed

Look, while we should always invite new opportunities into our lives, finding friends and a partner shouldn't be our main goal. I learned that we are all alone sometimes. Sometimes, we might even be alone for days, weeks, months. Perhaps our whole lives. Its quite a contradiction to a lot I have been thought but its the truth. And if you haven't learned how to be lonely and still lead a well adjusted live by then, then you are bound to become depressed on the quest of finding validation, attention and love from strangers. Having been rejected by society for my appearance and origin and having been betrayed by the few people I trusted, I learned how to be by myself. I don't want to elaborate, unless you ask to, otherwhise it would sound like I'm bragging. All I want to make clear is that its possible. Well I wrote this assuming that your comment was super ironic. If you're actually fine with being alone like me, then ignore my reply :D

@@lunatic_3521 I agree on everything you've said! I'm more than fine being alone; I actually love it because it has taught me to love myself unconditionally and accept my whole characteristic. What you said is true, we all need some time alone for ourselves and not everything has to be focus on people, dating, and making friends. :)

@@KittyKow humans are literally social creatures. Isolation has been long considered one of the most extreme and barbaric forms of torture. There's a difference between alone time and like being a loner/self dependent.. and actually being without human contact.

​@@rbartow22 I have social interactions, but very little(the interaction is with brother and parents). Hikikomori is a practice I could conquer pretty easily. It involves social isolating as a form of therapy for some people. I am not depressed, I enjoy the world and nature. I just love being alone 99% of the time.

Truly a real masterpiece.

Personally I liked the song but a lot of stronger punk minded friends labelled them emos and threw them on the trash heap.
