Mick's rendition of Waterfront on a church organ always gives me goosebumps. Not the same when he left.

Good to see Michael with the old guys. He is the biggest loss in history of Simple Minds. Michaels keybords were the signature sound of their music. They never been as good as with Michael, and of course with Mel and Derek. Sad what the band became after that golden 80s.

The only line up required to be the most successful rock band in the world Jim Kerr, Charlie Burchill, Derek Forbes, Michael McNiel and Mel Gaynor.

I'm glad they played together again on Trevor Horn's album a few years ago, first time in 30yrs, it's just a shame it didn't lead to a full reunion.
