So lucky I was there!!. Great memories
Great tour!! Miss the 90s 😥
Still to this day; September 9, 2023, my favorite songs of theirs is: “Alive and kicking” and “Don’t you, forget about me.”
fantastic
This was the beginning of the end for Simple Minds being a big band.
Die beste Band der WELT
Jim and Charlie for god's sake release a DVD of the footage from the UK gigs from S.F.Y tour. I bet Mick as got the tapes. COME ON, RELEASE ONE NOW...PRETTY PLEASE 🤭✌️
Roundhay Park was fantastic
Esse som é demais top
Shame mick walked out on them mid tour, loads of cancelled concerts followed.
People only came to that show on the back of Once Upon A Time. All bands get one albums "free pass" .. when they balls it up twice in a row it's curtains. They .made their money I guess. So out of touch in 89/90 this band were - knives were out when they opened up a stadium show with Street Fighting Years. Talk about gaslighting the crowd.

Once upon a time was the album to grab everyone's attention and worldwide success followed, Live in the city of light album also captured them at a peak, Mandela day concert the year before changed their direction even more and the result was Street fighting years. Its an album of its time and I went to Wembley stadium to see them when they were one of the biggest acts on the planet at that time. That album was very important at that time.
Compared to the Sparkle In The Rain tour and Once Upon A Time this tour was disappointing.
