Video interview with singer-songwriter Jim Kerr and guitarist Charlie Burchill from the Scottish rock band Simple Minds. Love these guys and the music since my late teens 1998 ish I discovered them. Seen them live back in 2002-03 when I was about 22 in hydro and it was amazing. Jim's a true entertainer.. I loved his high kicks and the way he moved his hands etc.. Awesome band.. Toryglen boys done good.. Lots of love from up the road in East kilbride guys.. x.. Ps Jim sounds almost Irish at times. Too much time abroad etc. Sometimes people's accents get muddled..My uncle stayed in Canada 30yrs and his glaswegian accent is still as strong. x
Agree on Spirited Away, a magical poignant melody and lyric.
F...ing pure Artist and musicians...miss Mike MacNeil the Genius of Mick MacNeil.

I thought I was the only one who thought the interviewer hadn’t got a clue what he was talking about at times... he was out of his depth with the questions about the song writing/creative process.

extremely humble dispite the great work they did
Ironic with this interview, Jim Kerr pissed off about what Prince was playing. I would be like that going to a Simple Minds gig and pissed off they either don't play or do bastardised versions of early stuff....cannot abide their stadium rock stuff, totally different band.
