Simple Minds Celebrate Live Sweden 1982
Simple Minds performing "Celebrate" live at the Karen Theatre, Gothenburg, Sweden in 1982. An absolutely STUNNING live performance of "Celebrate". Charlie is on top form here.
I got the idea for this clip from Jim's introduction "A celebration".
I thought 'Why not have a montague clip!'. That would be a celebration of the bands work (1981-1990).

Amazing performance!
This show was broadcasted by swedish radio, hence the good sound, and later (of course) bootlegged. I actually recorded it too. I still have the tape somewhere :-) A few years later I bought the 3-LP bootleg...

I had this concert on tape back then.. it was on the radio and they played the last song at an later radio show. The vinyl bootleg does not have the last song. I had it and lost it :-(

outstanding recording !!! charlie fuckin burchill you are my hero !! lets celebrate 2010 with this song :-)
I recorded that live concert from the radio and the last song was broadcast later and I had that to. But now it´s gone :-(
The date is wrong, 19th of February is the correct date, I was there!
This was probably bootlegged from my tape recording of the radio broadcast. This is exactly how it sounded when recording of my Panasonic radio recorder. And I gave away the cassette at some point. God knows why...
@YCSMusic Cheers Steve! I was new to KZread at the time of posting this so some thngs can be forgiven. But the audio is great! Cheers! Thanks for watching, Steve!
@oozayyazoo The sound quality is nice and clear considering it was nearly 28 years ago!
@brismike65 No problem, bud! Interesting choice of songs to add to a set list. It would definately work too, I imagine!
