This is one of my favorite songs of all time. I met my wife and married her when we were very young. We were also very young parents, and in the beginning I struggled trying to find a job to pay for us all. I got into a plumbing apprenticeship by the grace of God when we needed it most, and this is one of the anthems of my life. I just wanted a humble and stable life, and make sure we'd all be ok. I'm now 48 with 27 and 23 year old sons that have grown into incredible, smart, talented young men. I credit my wife for a lot of it, but I'm happy that I could be there to help when I could.

Love your comment. We also married young and struggled to make ends meet. 38 years later, 4 children 37-27 and 5 grandchildren. I hear this song from a mother's perspective of what I want for my three sons. My favorite Skynyrd song for sure.

Simple Man could quite possibly be the most emotional song that strikes that emotional cord the 10,000 th time you hear it as if were the first . A masterpiece of a song . I played this song over and over and over when my first Golden Retriever passed. I know this sounds absurd because it was a dog. My husband and I had no children, not the 2-legged kind anyway. "Jake" was almost 9 and had a history of canine seizures since he was 4. The love he brought out in me is a debt I can never repay. We had his ashes in an urn, and when his "brother" died ten years later at 14, we put his ashes in the beautiful box that my son made for "Bozzi." Both dogs were about 100# each. They are buried by a creek on my girlfriend's property in North Carolina. I can just picture them running and chasing the cows, squirrels and birds. This song helped me thru that long arduous nite. The magic of music.

When my daughter was 6 years old she was doing a Xmas concert with her school. They wanted the pupils to come up with songs they could sing,( most picking the normal Xmas songs). My daughter decided she was going to sing Under The Bridge, just her, no accompaniment. Never been prouder of her and the place erupted when she finished. I couldnt make eye contact with her as she sang incase it put too much strain on her. She is now a primary school teacher here in Scotland.

This is one of the best. I know these guys have touched my heart with this version. ❤ 😢
Great tribute to the greatest band of brothers ❤
Great performance ! Looks as if the crowd throughly enjoyed that rendition as did I !!!
Ooohhh...myyy...Looord...They Nailed it...AGAIN! I mean for the 21st Century this is "modern-sounding classic-rock" (in my opinion) It's spectacular and the riff keeps on throughout the song. Love you Rolling Stones!!! 🎉❤🫡🤘👄
Love love love this song and these guys didn't disappoint me.💕💕💕💕
Great cover!! Chris is always great!
Stapletons voice fits the song so perfectly. Makes it sound like a blend between Lynyrd Skynyrd and Zac Brown Band.
