Thanks for the video. I got it done in about an hour on a stock XJ in my driveway. It rocks. I was about to order a cable shifter before I saw this video. I'm glad I didn't because it was twice the price.

Yeah it works, and it's smooth like butter.

I absolutely love my Azzy linkage in my 98 XJ , so plan and simple Compared to the stock setup…

It's so easy to engage 4wd now!

Quick tip. If you are having trouble getting your 4 wheel drive shifter in the perfect position, place a penny in front of the shift arm and between the plastic all the way up in 2 high. Make sure your t-case is in 2 high. Very easy... Then sinch the linkage down tight

What if you're having trouble shifting into four wheel drive low because you have part-time also making up 5 gears

Shifting is amazingly smooth. The stars and strips do “pop” when you look at the case.

@@Hvacoffroad omg we need smooth ..I have a 92 and a 2000 and I never liked how difficult shifting is and it dont always work right so I'm going to replace the 92 first it's my main winter driver..I just finished a American flag headliner in the 92 lol it took 2 flags 1 to finish the console and sun visors..

Well worth the cost of the upgrade. Shifts like a dream now.

What's a fair price to pay for this upgrade if I get the part

“Oops wrong one” sir don’t do this to me I’m following along as you go

Mine doesn't like slot in, I'm so confused on how to mount this, I've done an engine swap transmission and transfer case with no problems but I've messed up two of these mounting it wrong, it won't shift, and when I got it to shift my front drive shift rubbed against it

what transmission is this?? is that like a dual transfer case? seeing as how youre talking about doing another linkage and shifter? that part just confused me lol

My linkage came with 2 of the blue upper linkages. Am I supposed to use them both bc every video I see only come with 1

Placement of the engine package will effect that answer. And depends on what transfer case you use. I can tell from my experience, I would not work with my swap and a 241c case.
