    I am, A Doctor and I was doing running,cycling often over an year. gradually i developed patellofemoral syndrome which made me to quit running and cycling didn't know the cause initially, later I developed complete leg pain and knee pain, consulted top orthopedician even at Apollo greams, was diagnosed vit-d deficiency and was on supplement. Though my pain didn't settle down . Later I came across this VIDEO accidentally five days back and I did only one session, Trust me I didn't have pain immediately after one session and on 8/2/23 I ran 1km with so minimal pain. My last run was November 2021 and now I remain pain free. A year of suffering came to an end. Thank you whole heartedly mam.

    Ma'am , I am preparing for physical for Indian army and last year I got injured from ACL grade 1 tear with posterior horn medial meniscus tear grdae 1 .so I took PRP 1 injection and doing physiotherapy exercises for it .after that I felt better nad started running but now a days A pain is increasing with poping sound on the upper side of patella where join patella to femur , according to me now I am suffering from chondromalacia syndrome so what's doing for permanent cure of it because my indian army rally is near and I have to run ,and in running this is giving pain ...I want to get permanant cure of it please suggest what I have to do it's my humble request to you

    Hi... running is the main issue that increases the pain in this condition..give rest for sometime with Physiotherapy... don't stress now.... otherwise it's going to worse..there is no purnanent solution as this is the type of condition which worses with the activities..but...stretching and exercise will help you some extent.

    There is no one single solution for the problems that you have mentioned.you need to consult an ortho doctor and a Physiotherapist..and need to follow some instructions as per their advice. Because as per your mentioned problem you might have perticular muscle weakness.so an assessment is needed.

    Im a runner and i got my test in one months tho when i try to sprint and my knee heats then it start to pain and when i try to fold my knees putting my chest towards ground lying on chest then it feels like ny ligament is making a crackling sound and it pains what should i do

    You need to consult an orthopedician for correct diagnosis.after thorough evaluation ,scaning only we can conclude to treatment

    Squats can strengthen muscles of buttock, thighs as whole.if done properly then good.otherwise can cause problem.

    I'm patient of chondromalacia patela grade 2.. I do nee exercise but sometimes swelling become in nee and after 24 hour rest swelling goes. What I do to get rid of completely from chondromalacia patela please suggest.

    Sir, please do take rest if your symptoms get more worse. And do start suggested exercises and stretching slowly 3-5 times per session...2 sessions a day.and avoid strenuous activities that can worsen your symptoms.

    It is not the condition in which we can say proper period of healing.in acute stage rest and static exercises are important.

    Walking will not couse sever strain....like bending..if you feel comfortable..you can go 👍

    Hi.. my age is 32,female . I have revived practicing Bharathanatyam after 10 years recently... Initially everything was fine but all of a sudden am getting severe knee pain.. doctor diagnosed as AKPS and he has adviced me to follow some strengthening exercises.. things were okay for few months but again am getting severe pain.. am afraid that I cannot perform again .. is this condition is reversible...can I perform Bharathanatyam again since it mainly involves in squatting position...

    Sure you can perform.but you have to continue the proper strengthening exercises daily

    If you have grade 1,then you can try these exercises.but if you feel increased pain or uneasiness please stop doing exercise and consult doctor.because this vedio is basically for awareness and live demonstration of exercises will be always good than you get from screen.

    @@meditips6344 thank u so much for d immediate reply. Im undergoing this pain for 2 years. I have consulted few doctors. One said it's not curable and need to manage throughout life. Another doctor gave lot of tablets. But nothing worked out. Im a teacher. Need to climb stairs n walk. So i took a break in my career now. Pls suggest me to get rid of this. Wat to do exactly.. pls..

    We can't say that it can cure completely.but yes...you can get relief and prevent it from getting more worse than present.

    In between every exercise you can take 1-2 minute rest .if you feel comfortable 30 seconds rest will be enough.

    @@sweta13100 in ligament or cartilage issues usually recommended time for complete cure is 5-6 months..but it all depends on which ligament or cartilage and extend of injury.

    @@sweta13100 definitely these exercises will help you if you are having mild problem.but first of all..you need to consult an orthopedician..then find out severity of your knee problem.

    @@vishnuip6330 that's great. I got this problem by playing Badminton regularly. Still struggling to find the right excercise and treatment. Did you have issues with patella tracking disorder(kneecap moving laterally)too ? Can we connect to discuss on this on social media?

    @@poornar8924 yeah I have it too; and starting stage of osteoarthritis too ; But currently I have very good improvements; my Physio doc told me I will be able to return to practice and games in 4-5 months more ; We can connect definitely 👍
