DUDE ....first of all I would like to thank you for this wonderful and detailed video, it really helped me a lot. Well that‘s tricky. Smartphone are not really made to record in dark super loud environments. Only thing is lock the focus and exposure to not have changes constantly and try that the iso isn‘t crazy high

Thank you so much for the video. It is very helpful! For contexts in low light settings (or with high contrast lighting) with moving objects like at a concert, would you recommend turning on the auto framing and the super smooth feature? I want to use S23U to have good photos/videos at the concert but wonder how the setting may change. Thank you!

Glad it was helpful! No I would not turn on auto framing, super smooth also crops in a lot, as long as you're not jumping or running around, I wouldn't use it!

Fantastic info I appreciate seeing these on other platforms as the mobile phone industry evolve's. Would you say turn off samsungs 'scene optimizer?' Many other's have recommended that be done.

This mostly effects stills.. but yes, I have turned that off. It just depends how much time you want to invest into making great images

depends on what kind of video you want to create.. a "live report" for example, just shoot at 24fps, a highlight reel with maybe some slow motion shots? shoot at 60fps

I don't have this model of samsung, but I received a videofile filmed with it. Mediainfo showed that it used VP9 as a video-codec. Can you confirm that by showing the settings of this smartphone? In your video, I only saw H.264 being mentioned on the advanced settings screen.

Hi, i bought a s23ultra becasue of the „amazing zoom” and im suprised because videos in 4K on 10x are super terrible and blurry , but in hd 10x is fine, why is that? Can i fix it? No one talked about this issue doing rewievs 🧐

This Samsung model is probably king of low light .What i dont like in Samsung that they still keeping their HDR10+ when Iphone is even recording with Dolby Vision but thats not needed when you have TV which will cross 700-800nits Even latest SoNy experis doent support Dolby Vision . Lastly SoNy exleria 4k60 will record at 150mbit thats astonishing. Cheers

Never take pictures or videos straight on whatsapp unless you're on IOS, it always looks shit unfortunately. Take your pics on default camera app then post

My video on 4k 30phrames per second is chopped and when I turn on 60phrames per secon it was amasing smooth and good.

Mine too whenever i tried to record on 4k or 8k,video chops. So its same for all s23 ultra? I thought i was the only having this camera issue. Has it been updated and fixed?

the stock camera app is a big problem for pro film makers.... it adds an extra sharpness to the video, even in pro mode which i hate a lot.

You have to find it yourself maybe ther are some settings that 1 should turn off cause i use to see so many reviews on youtube from pro photographers/videographers and neither of them told that has an issue like this on s23ultra and they captured a really beat and cinematic videos with it using also nd filter/lenses... That's why i think you are not using it properly or maybe it depends from what software is in the phone too

Yup, bought mine in Sept 23 and it doesn't have both options. I don't have a reset password ootion on the secure folder either.

Ok so I'm a fool, I should have been tinkering around with the phone and be curious. I recorded a video and its fuzzy just like my Google Pixel was and I was like all this money for this phone and I can change shutter speed or iso! Dummy just click more lol!

Btw, anything over 1080p is not that breathtaking on a phone. Already 4K is an overkill for any device that uses AI upscaling. 8k is plain bad when you zoom in. Let's say 4K is just enough.
