Simple DIY Diaper Cake Tutorial!
My favorite gift for baby showers or expecting mothers are diaper cakes. Not only are they an amazing centerpiece for a baby shower banquet but also duel as hand-crafted nursery décor.
Here I will share with you how I create my standard, simply constructed, diaper cake.
I have listed (below) all of the materials you will need to get your diaper cake started.
Please comment & tell me any tricks you have with creating diaper cakes or any other suggestions that you may have and don't forget to S U B S C R I B E!

MATERIALS:
1 Large Box of diapers (sugg. 100+ of your choice size & brand)
1 Large cardboard cake plate (14in+) or other disposable base
1 Empty paper towel or gift wrapping roll
1 Pair of scissons
1 large roll of sting, tie tape or ribbon to secure the diapers with
1 Hot glue gun with extra glue sticks
1+ rolls of decorative ribbon for embellishment
*A good variety of decorations/toys/baby gifts of your choice to top it off!

I've made quite a few diaper cakes in different shapes and sizes, I always wrap the roll in the centre with gift wrap first so that when it's disassembled it looks more attractive. I also use coloured string or thin ribbon to keep diapers in place and take the rubber bands off.
