So cute! I've made similar diaper cakes for friends and used a bottle of wine in the middle of all the layers. A little surprise for the new mommy when she may need it!!

Thanks for the tutorial. I'm making my friend an R2D2 diaper cake (topper with a beanie I crocheted) this week and need to remember how to layer the diapers.

Wow! This is a much better way of creating a diaper cake, rather then the old way of rolling up all the diapers individually and wrapping each and every diaper with a elastic! As well as much easier for the Mom to later take apart. I received a gorgeous diaper cake for my first little one, it was beautiful, but let me tell you...time consuming to take apart, 100 elastics later and 100 diapers unrolled, I finally had the diaper cake taken apart!

Beautiful, I don't think I could dare take it apart! I wonder how it would look with cloth diapers!!

You Could easily make with cloth diapers using the same technique of rolling each individual diaper and then filling up the cake pan. Think it would look beautiful! xx B
