Awesome! Great step by step video. For a fretless guitar, can it only be pressed with a slide? In other words, can you press the note with a left hand finger and play the note with the right hand?

Anything is possible. They have fretless bass, so you can do the same with this. However, you'll probably want to use a smaller screw at the nut/bridge to reduce the action on the strings if you want to press with fingers.
