This simple Chicken Stroganoff recipe is similar to Beef Stroganoff, but using chicken instead of beef. This 30-minute dish has golden-seared chicken breasts topped in a cream and sour cream Stroganoff sauce.
Ingredients:
- 500 g champignons
- 500 g chicken breast fillet
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 100 ml dry white wine
- 2 tbsp of tomato purée
- 1 tbsp of mustard
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 2 tbsp of sour cream
- zest of a lemon
- a bunch of parsley
- 200 g pickles (mini cucumbers)
- salt, ground black pepper
- cooking oil for searing
