I agree with a lot that you have said in this video. Personally linking to another account in the bio is a bad thing (unless the other one is your main account). Other profile links just encourages people to visit that profile, not stay and engage with yours. Once they are on the other profile are they going to remember to navigate back and see yours, probably not. One of the best thing I have found, is telling a story across several post. Even better if I can integrate this with stories are well. Makes people want to come back for the next post to see the next part. The story can be the process behind the picture, next part of a series of pictures etc. A popular reel option I have come across is a simple before and after shot. For example, shot before editing, after editing. Even if it is just static images, there are a lot of tricks to make engaging reels from them.

Absolutely! Hashtags and captions play a huge role in IG success. Boost App Social has been my secret weapon for crafting the perfect ones.

Can you please please do this like 10 more times? lol There are so so many Instagram tip videos on the internet that are not helpful at all it's depressing trying to find decent advice. This was really good.

Thank you, Interesting to know about hashtags. Have been struggling with it for a while now. I see some people getting a lot of reach without hashtags but haven’t dared to try it out myself. Do you have any suggestions for best time to post? My insights tells me to post around 18:00 but that never works well. I tend to get much more views and interactions when I post later around 21:30-22.

Thanks for doing this. It's very helpful. Regarding the asking questions - as an artist who needs peace and no stress for creating designs - I make stuff and it's two months until I post it. (I need time to have a bad week vs being consistent - and I need time to get the the design actually available on fabric - I want people to be able to buy the fabric when I post the design). I include a tutorial each week about making some part of my design (so people can learn to use the software) - if I ask people questions about what they want to see or learn - I'm not going to be very responsive with a two month delay... Any thoughts?

I know some artists make a batch of videos and content and while they are busy they post whatever's in the batch so they're free in the meantime. I'm also struggling with consistency on IG but I need to reshape my page a little. Your reels with tutorials and tips is a great idea if you're not posting the designs themselves.

The only issue with your info is about hashtags, how can your content appear in relevant searches without using hashtags? In my opinion, only after you reach a considerable number of followers you can post your content without hashtags, this is valid now and in the future, hashtags are a core functionality of Instagram.

Is anyone else having issues with tags not getting through on Instagram? It’s happening with reels & pictures. I tag a number of people and only 5 or 6 tags get through but they still show up in the list of tags…🤦‍♂️

My instagram account is not growing what can I do ?

I’m new on instagram. I make simple aesthetic videos from my day to day life . I feel my videos are good but I’m struggling to get likes and followers.

Hashtags are of course important but they are just a small part of IG. Saying that they will be less important is not really true. As long as you use hashtags related to your niche, not using too big/small hashtags then you are good to go. But relying only on hashtags is of course not a good way to grow on Instagram.

I post high resolution pics and have almost 600 post over two years. Most images I get zero likes. I'm lucky if two likes tops.

It's all solid advice but ultimately it's all pot luck. Instagram is a mess and the larger many accounts grow the lower their reach gets. Makes sense doesn't it? The algorithm often seems to favor accounts. One friend has been stuck on 30k followers for 2 years (and posts once a day). Doesn't make sense. Others with the same following posting the same content and same hash tags with the same number of followers go viral with every post. Growth cannot be achieved without reels going viral. It's all pot luck on instagram.

I wanna sell my 98,000 and 470,000 + follwers growing page, any legitimate site where I could sell them?

What has this platform come to? It's no longer about the art and its quality, everyone's basically an SEO specialist looking for the best way to feed the algorithm. Sad, really.
