SIMPLE bulk processing unit TUTORIAL | Create Mod 1.19.2 |

Ойындар

A short tutorial on how to make an easy to build a basic factory layout using encased fans for the bulk processing of items.
Please feel free to leave a comment on how i can improve my designs or explaining any of the strange quirks i discovered in this video.

    ■ OVERWORLD TIP ■: Remember you'll find Netherrack at the Ruined Portals YAHOO! A Beautifully solution to my tacky problem! 😉 I was desperate one day as hadn't built these yet & needed to smelt some stuff fast! So I literally boxed in a block of lava with 3 glass, a fan & a depot behind that SMACK in the middle of storage room where I was atm & stood there throwing bits down in 5's to get what I needed quick. But then I never took it down & made a permanent version so I'm always jumping over it to get to my chests. I'm LOVING this design!

    For the Water Wheel, it's got noting to do with direction. The water wheel runs at 20 RPM and putputs more SU if it's getting pushed on all 4 sides. For vertical water wheels like this you can achieve it by having one side have soul sand at the bottom to produce a upward pushing bubble collum. The one water wheel you've got at 20 RPM must think the 4th side is getting pushed. The is easier to achieve with horizontle wheels, as water can flow all the way around it.

    Realistically, you could also just do one side as a modular or tileable contraption. Don't box yourself in, don't make it so they could all feed into each other, and no issues getting trapped. It also means that if one isn't fast enough, you can just build that part elsewhere two or three times until it can keep up.

    About water wheel : if you put soul sand under that glass block and add 2 water buckets , wheel could be full powered 256 hz

  • @skylarryals4837

    @skylarryals4837

    Жыл бұрын

    His are going at 256su. Adding soul sand bubble elevator brings it to 320su. But I believe it would make the conveyor belt too fast for the items to smelt before reaching the output.

  • @jursamaj

    @jursamaj

    Жыл бұрын

    @@skylarryals4837 SU and RPM are different things. Speeding up 1 water wheel will increase both SU & RPM, but if you attach 2 water wheels to the same shaft, you'll double the SU, but the RPM stays the same. Personally, I build my water wheels *long* before I've gotten soul sand. The trick is to build them flat instead of upright. Put a block in 1 corner, and let the water flow around all 4 sides for full power. Of course, you can't stack your wheels directly on each other, so the whole assembly is twice as tall, but I don't mind that. I hide them underground anyway.

  • @skylarryals4837

    @skylarryals4837

    Жыл бұрын

    @@jursamaj Interesting. I never considered doing more than one wheel flat on the ground. I've only done them flat when I'm using one for a farm. I'll have to try that.

  • @jursamaj

    @jursamaj

    Жыл бұрын

    @@skylarryals4837 It works pretty good. For underground, dig down twice as far as the number of wheels, plus 1 more. Set up a flat wheel, put a layer of any building block on top of it, with an axle coming thru. Repeat with another wheel + layer, until you are back at the surface. It can be tedious to add more later, but it's nicely out of site. Conversely, if you don't mind ugly, build upward instead, and you can add more at the top easily. The only real advantage is that you can get max power without soul sand. Of course, you could make up for that by just making 33% more wheels. If you have souls sand available already, a row of upright wheels is easier to build, easier to expand, and more compact.

    Is there an advantage to using multiple fans? Hypothetically if you time the belt processing time right you could use 1 fan for a line. You could with pre brass gearing adjust the speed to get more distance on the fan jet letting it blow down a belt line.
