And regarding the meaning of ‘she’ in Latin: Illa can mean ‘this/that’ as a demonstrative pronoun but also ‘she’ as a personal pronoun. I believe Simone stated in her Instagram live yesterday that she sings all the voices in the choir on this song, even the highest soprano notes. I think she pinned some parts of this live into her feed, but the chorus with the choir it's her singing the whole choir.

Cool, thanks for pointing that out. I do see there is a backing vocalist in the credits, John Jace Cuypers, so it’s possible some parts were done by them but it definitely makes more sense knowing the choir is mostly if not all her 🤘🏻
