I believe some of them knew, especially the coaches who were gymnasts and Nasser was the doctor. I can bet all of the 2006 gymnasts were his victims. I know all of 2012 Olympians were and 2016 except Hernandez who was physically abused by her coach who they sued. Sad, isn’t it.

USA Gymnastics knew that is why the FBI was involved and people lost their University jobs. And Larry Nasser will never see the light of day.

Perverts have a way of making their victims feel like what they are doing is normal. I’m a former teacher and foster parent. When a child tells you about abuse or tries to hide it, don’t let it go. Investigate and ask questions. If you ignore them you’re enabling the perpetrator. The consequences are lifetime of devastation and d mistrust. 🥺

Without a doubt she is phenomenal. She is setting a bar so high the up and coming gymnasts, both male and female, have a level to aim for and try to surpass. This will not only lift the competition to a much higher level it will make them innovative and this is good for the sport. So glad to see SB compete again and pray she does well! LOVE her. Like my father, she was adopted at a young age. Having grown up in a broken family myself and having been a volunteer court advocate for 4 foster kids and 9 other at risk kids, it's an inspiration to see her achievements, as well as her fortitude dealing with not only her mental health challenges also but publicly advocating for mental health.

I have a respect for this phenomenonal American WOMAN that exists beyond her gymnastic skills: intelligence, integrity, compassion, and courage. These qualities are special to Simone, but she is a role model for all girls, young women and adults. The world needs more heroes!

the beam is 3.9 in wide 16.5 Ft long and 4.2 Ft off the ground its basically the width of a Video Cassette tape. also tricks have evolved since the 90s for ex uneven bars releases that end in Mixed L Grip have decreased in popularity so we don't see moves like the Miller on bars anymore granted the only person that ever performed that was its name sake US Gymnastics two time Olympian Shannon Miller who like Biles has won 7 Olympic Medals 2 Gold 2 Silver 3 Bronze 1992 Barcelona 1996 Atlanta and went to team trials in 2000 but withdrew due to a knee injury on Vault the only Apparatus she never won at the Olympics she medaled on Balance beam twice Silver in 1992 and Gold in 1996 and once each on floor and uneven bars both in 1992 Silver on Bars Bronze tied on Floor with Cristina Bontas of Romania and Tatiana Gutsu of Ukraine scoring 9.912 in the Floor Exercise finals Lavinia Milosovici of Romania won gold with a perfect 10 and Henrietta Onodi of Hungary won silver with a 9.950 then Dominique Dawes won Bronze on Floor in Atlanta in 1996 with a score of 9.84 due to a .5 fall and a .1 step out of bounds had she only had the .1 step out of bounds she would've scored a 9.85 tying for Silver and Dominique Moceanu would've won Bronze with a 9.83. mind you in the 3 Apparatus Events Simone won medals in in 2016 she averaged 15.600 points

A bit off topic, this statement reminds me of my job. I’m a grocery store clerk, and when working the checkout stand, the cashiers who are the fastest make the most mistakes…. I’m not fast, I take my time to do the job nice for the customers. I’m not sure if that’s a good analogy, but just saying

She is not even close to Lavinia Milosovici and Nadia Comaneci. They have scored perfect tens multiple times. Not to mention the graceful, elegant, and feminine moves.......you will never see any of that in Simone. Very sad!
