I agree ole’s probably not an elite top 10 manager globally, but after how he stabilised the behemoth of Utd, and the fallout after mourinho, and stopping and changing the downward trend of Utd, to back top top four minimum - he deserves more respect. And if a club like Bayern is considering him, just shows what English media know… Bayern isn’t exactly Accrington Stanly..

If you could erase everything the media has said about him, and we all had a clean slate and logically thought about Ole as a manager, based on what he's done as a manager, i think he would be a lot higher rated than he is now. He won Molde their first league title in 30 or so years. He got a Cardiff regulated from the Prem, with the worst squad in the Prem by a mile. That's when the media went for him and never gave him credit since. Oles United career was good. He built one of the youngest high scoring front 3 in Europe. He had a spine of Martial, Fred McTominay, Maguire Lindelof and got CL football. The players loved him. That's a good thing and that's why they played for him.

If Ole were to take over at Bayern, and was able to replicate the form that he initially had with Man Utd (before he got the “permanent” role), then Bayern still have an outside chance of winning the Bunsdesliga. Even if Bayern didn’t keep him on permanently, he’d be a Bundesliga-winning manager and in the running for another European top job next year 🤣 Stranger things have happened

Ole had a superb record. 3rd in his first full season. 2nd in his season full season. He won 92 of his 153 games as manager. He has the THIRD best WIN record in Manchester United history. Took a team that was even WORSE than the current one, not to mention LVG's, and Mourinho's. Under a better structure and more established football hierarchy, he would sit in well and do a job for Bayern. Ole went to the Etihad and won more games against Pep than any other top 4 manager. He also had a superb record against the top 4/5 teams, including Mourinho AND Contes Tottenham, Frank and whoever else managed Chelsea, and Arsenal. He also took down Tuchels PSG team who thought they had the tie sown up. The only team he couldn't break was Liverpool in that category. People are SO blinded by the bullshit that Ole had no idea. You're all absolutely stone mad if you think he think that. BUT the narrative is he is a joke. Idiots.

No one is calling Ole top tier but he did take over the worst dressing room in recent United history and finished in the top 3 twice(once with the youngest squad in the league), made 5 semi finals and 1 final which United lost 11-10 on penalties (!) and did all of this with Maguire and Lindelof at the back and Rashford as his top scorer. That's more than De Zerbi, Emery, Howe, and everyone's favourite Postecoglou has ever done in English football and all those managers are operating under better circumstances than Ole did.
