Simon, the You tube person that has a video about your problem scan n cut mat Papered Chef. She explains how there was a problem with the mats and the dots or coding on the bottom. She explains to contact Brother scan n cut. Let me know if you need help with a number and I'll see if I can find it. Good luck.

Hi Simon! I'm sorry I missed the live stream. I love that you are able to get those shallow drawers to use for storage. I only have three shallow drawers in my whole house. Well, okay for. The Deep ones are pretty much useless. I plan on getting smaller bins for them though. . Looking forward to seeing your new products. . So you make money? By KZread, classes and selling your products. Are there any other ways? I mean, is there anything else in your business? Cheers!

Simon, when you get ready to learn the Gemini Foilpress machine, make sure you watch a couple of videos on how to use REGULAR dies to foil with in addition to the foiling dies. It beats the other foiling machines by a mile.

Hey Simon, I really enjoy how informative your videos are. I so appreciate you sharing details about the industry that you've learned as you've developed. I have learned that the designer Ranger inks are actually different formularies and more about how you all develop your colors as well. I also had only heard one other time about how you don't have to store your dye inks upside down or otherwise - so thanks for that! I like how you thank those who have supported you and taught you things along the way as well. Keep sharing your knowledge with us! We are learning lots.

Loved seeing your craft room. Very orderly and workable. One important "tool" you're missing is a paper recycling bin. Since you have a platform where ppl listen to you, I highly encourage you to do this and support others to also. It's easy to dump the paper bits in, doesn't take a lot of time, and it's a little thing we can all do for our planet.

Fun! I love watching Craft room organisational videos. I can definitely see which youtubers have in influenced you. When you do a live video, keep in mind not everyone will watch it live. There are times when questions are asked and you answer as if we know the question...some times it doesn't matter and other times I don't know what you are talking about. Tim Holtz, for example, is really great at repeating the question and then answering when he's live. Love the personal touches in your craftroom. 😊

A very nice place to create. I would love to come and help de-stash. I am just now getting our bedroom/craft room re-done. Gone will be the carpet that has been in there since 1984. Gone will be the popcorn ceilings. I hope to get a few new items to help organize. I especially want a comfortable and functional desk. I really like the drawers I am seeing and will have to check them out. Thank you for the tour. It's fun to see what others have even if we have to live vicariously through them. I do love organization. It feels good to know where everything is.

The response I got from customer service was 'Ranger is always experimenting and exploring new products and who knows if there may be Simon Hurley mini ink pads sometime in the future?' So at this stage even they don't know - but I guess the more of us that ask, the better chance there is!

I've just started to put together a crafting/card making area in a corner of my apartment living room, so not a lot of room to store stuff in, but I've been watching a lot of KZread videos about organization and getting ideas. It was so nice of you to let us into your drawers!!! (KZread doesn't usually allow that!) But seriously, great video and bad news for me because now there are some other items I want to buy. I may end up working so much overtime to be able to afford everything that I want that I wont have much time to make cards. I've have an old Silhouette Cameo 2 that I bought a few years back (they're up to #4 now) and it has never let me down. You might want to look into their latest model. Thanks again for the tour, very helpful! Mark

@@stampinwithalohajoyceb9310 Hi Joyce. What I ended up doing was going to IKEA and getting two of their Linnmon/Adils tables (about $40 each). These are 47 1/4" x 23 5/8 " and the top is about 29" high. (I got the black tops and white legs). I put one against the wall and used the other to make an "L" shape. By making an "L" shape with the desks it gives me some under desk storage space, so I'll be finding some drawer units that will fit under the desk.I got a Stoljan chair ($40) which is a non-rolling chair which I find very comfortable. By making an "L" shape with the desks it gives me some under desk storage space, so I'll be finding some drawer units that will fit under the desk. On top of the desk I got 2 of their Moppe drawer units ($20 each) (16 ½" x 7" x 12 5/8"). These are made of untreated Birch plywood and can be left plain or finished with paint or stain (I haven't decided yet). I also got a Fjalla desk organizer because it was only $8. I have a Shopping list on the Ikea site and still have some other items that I will be buying when I have the money. I'm going to get a Kallax 4 cube unit ($40) for paper/card stock storage. Two of the Variera units ($6 each) for organizing stamps and dies. And a Svensas memo board (15 3/4" x 23 1/2") that is metal so that I can attach items magnetically ($10). I have several shopping lists on Amazon divided up by subject and one of these is Card Making - Storage which includes several magnetic organizers that willgo on the memo board. The great thing I like about Ikea is that you can sit and lie and jump up and down on the furniture to make sure it's just what you want. You should have seen me with the chairs. I was doing my best Goldilocks impersonation! Nope, this one's too narrow. Nope, this one's back hits me wrong...ahhhhhhh, just right! Hope that helps. Mark

It was interesting to see the behind the scenes aspects like the lighting setup that hasn’t featured in previous tours. I have to say as an influencer I was really disappointed with the way you dismissed the ScanNCut and said there was no way you could get hold of them. I have an older model and if I have ever had an issue their customer service has been excellent. Maybe they are more responsive here in the U.K. but I know there are a lot of users in the USA too. (I have no affiliation to Brother, I just appreciate the impact of an influencers opinion and thought this wasn’t representative of the customers experience)

FYI-I saw a video a few years ago about using eye shadow like chalk ink. The person tried the good makeup and it failed. The only stuff that worked for her was LA Colors which you can find at the dollar tree or Walmart. If you are still curious you can just pick up a few of them. I believe only the heavily pigmented ones worked and not the pastels.

Who is the manufacturer for that old man card that you have hanging on your back wall? I am a senior and have lots of older friends that I could make cards for with this stamp. Thanks Simon.😀

I was so sad...I couldn’t hear and wanted to listen while picking up my craft room. Took some trouble shooting to realize my wireless headset was turned on...operator error. Back to picking up and listening.

You can keep your clear plastic bins in your drawers in place (so they don’t slide around) with a little bit of museum gel on the bottom of the bin

Great ideas on organization. Thank you for the video. I have a scan and cut 2, not the dx125. I love mine. I know there was a mat issue with your model. If you call them they will send you a new mat with the right coding on it. There have been videos on this fix for the Dx125. Check out julie fayfan balzer. Anyway I hope this helps. Have a great crafting week

Hi I just watch your video. And I heard you have a scan and cut. There is a lady on you tube she is paper chef and she had trouble but she fixed it maybe she can help you. That is expensive tool now I have a problem with sizzix big shot I had a got one for Christmas and I only used it a few times had a thin die rolled it through and it made a pop that was the end. They would not fix it and they would not send it back. I now it's not your problem but every company has a h.r.that needs to be worked on so now I'm not going to by there products . Sorry I ranted here

Just a random thought about foreigners who leave a comment in their native language -- not everyone speaks Spanish, or whatever (though I did take 4 years of Spanish in high school, so I can get some of it, 45 years later) -- English is our first language. If you want to be heard, please use an English translation app. We'd LOVE to hear from you, but please speak our language. I would not come to Mexico or Spain, or any foreign country, and expect you to know my language. I would learn your language first, or at the very least, have a translator app or manual. Please show us the same courtesy. Maybe it's just me. I'm just sayin'.
