    Just idea I cut out ABC in each font die set I own and glued it to a tickers size package so I can see all the alphabet dies I have all on one sheet. And put it in front of my thicker letter set so I can see at a glance and remember I have them 😅

    That's a great idea! I used to have an index card with the ABCs of each set of dies I had, but I didn't keep up with it. Thanks for the tip- keeping it with your thickers is a great way to remember them and use them more often!

    QUESTION: at 24:10 where you show all your cling stamps. where did you get those things to store them in? plastic bag with white backing? did you buy them or did you make them yourself. what did you use? I have been trying to organize my clear stamps for so long

    Hi, Those are stamp storage pouches which are made by Avery Elle. You can get them at the major scrapbooking stores such as Scrapbook.com and Simon Says Stamp, but you can also find a knock-off version on amazon (listed as checkoutstore brand). I just cut low-grade cardstock to line them. Good luck sorting your stamps!

    Those are modular storage cubes from michaels- I’m not sure if they still sell them as it’s been awhile since I’ve been to a Michaels. They sold them for years under the Jetmax brand and then as a recollections brand. Good luck finding them or something similar!

    I am most interested in your technology. You went through that part kind of fast. Could you do a video just on that subject explaining more fully what you use, how it works,and why you chose those product. You seem to have a pretty good set up. Why do you have so many cameras? Explain the switcher thing a little more clear and how it works. Do you have to have a special software to make it all work? Is that a download, subscription or what? I have not quite figured out the equipment necessary for live streaming. Can you also link all the equipment or at least list the specifics on them. About backups and deleting and related to going digital. If your computer memory gets too full going all digital will become a problem and you could lose info. What is your backup? Do you use a passport? I have run into problems with maxing out the memory of my Mac computer with 1 Terabyte. Do you use Mac for everything? I am assuming you probably also subscribe to iCloud. I now save all produced videos on a 5 terabyte passport (an external backup) then delete all completed videos and the footage from my computer. I wished I had done that from the beginning. There have been times when I needed to go back and grab an excerpt from some old footage for a current video. Another reason to have backup copies are what if KZread got shut down or they shut you down or you lose your account for some reason. With backup copies of your created content you can upload to other platforms even to just expand your reach. After removing all my photos, documents (the ones that would open) and a lot of my video footage I still have not gained back much space. It appears that Apple is secretly keeping copies of all my content while at the same time trying to get me to buy more space. I am frustrated trying to find space. I don’t want Apple to have access to all my data so I canceled iCloud after I saved most of my data (photos, videos, & most documents) because I don’t trust Apple. Some of my documents that I know had content will not open. They acts as if they are blank almost as though Apple is hiding them from me. I cannot seem to figure it out. I wanted to move those last files off my computer but they they appear to be blank. I said all that to say You may want to have a paper record of your plans because going all digit may seem like a good plan to reduce paper having a hard copy is the safest most secure way of keeping your records and privacy. Privacy is something I don’t believe Apple truly cares about. Thanks for the tour. I gather you make cards, do scrapbooking, and journaling but I have no idea what some of the other stuff you mentioned pertains to. What is project life? I wish people that did craft room tours would tell the audience what types of crafting they do as they show all the supplies. You have two sewing machines but are they used for sewing clothes or something else? I don’t think you showed much if any fabric for sewing. You did have some great tips on organizing some of the stuff. I just wish I knew what some of the stuff is used for.

    Tracy, great organization as always! I’ve been looking for a small drawer unit like the frosted one to the right of your chair on the shelf. You have your paper clips, etc in it. What brand is it?

    On your rolling cart is top bin turned upside down?

  • @mercytiara

    @mercytiara

    Жыл бұрын

    HI, yes, it was installed upside down so I could use it as a flat surface for my Big Shot. Since i made this video, Ikea started selling the cutting boards that fit on top of the raskog in Canada, so I bought one of those and reinstalled the top bin right side up, so now I have even more storage under my Big shot. TFW!

    they don't seem to have them anymore so I can't find the item names, but they were by the kitchen cutlery storage. In my ikea that whole section has been empty for months, so I'm not sure if they are out of stock because of shipping delays or if they just aren't making them anymore.

    I am curious: why don't you sell--or even give away--the stamps that you don't like using? The reason I ask is that I, too, have collections of things I don't really like--and I can't figure out why I don't get rid of them! It's creating a big problem in my overstuffed craft room. Also, I LOVE that Leonard Cohen lyric above your desk!

    that's a good question. For me, I tend to go through phases where I'll use a style that may be quite different from my usual style. I find it refreshing sometimes to do this (for example I might do a phase of work that has an artsy-art journal look), and if I have the supplies already, and if I have the space, I'll hang onto things so that if I cycle back around to those supplies, I have them on hand. I also have a very crafty teenage daughter who will occasionally want to make cards or scrapbook projects for her friends. She doesn't do it often enough to justify having her own supplies, but just often enough for me to want to hang onto certain things that I might have otherwise given away or sold. As long as I have the space, I'll hang onto things I might cycle back to, but if space is getting tight, then the burden of storing them isn't outweighed by the benefit of having them on hand, so then I'll purge. It's hard to know where to draw that line though, isn't it?
