you're right. Enzo was fresh faced to the industry and was approaching it in the same TYPES of ways that the biggest stars in NJPW or on the indies have, they're trying to evolve with the business. While Simon has a chip on his shoulder and finds himself a superior worker because he's taken the same approach as was taken in the 80s and 90s and thinks he's owed more.

I love Simon. I was able to meet him shortly after his release and worked and interacted with him often at his ROH appearances. He is a very intelligent individual and has a unique sense of humor. I think that throws people off and they assume he's arrogant or not a nice guy.

This has to be the longest Van Vliet interview & its worth it ive always liked Simon

That was a nice genuine interview with Simon gotch.... I didn't really get to see him much but I would love to see more of him after this interview

Man ive seen this interview like 15 times i love this so much

I've seen multiple interviews with Simon now, and he just gets more and more interesting. It really stinks that he never really got to showcase himself the way he wanted in WWE. He's a super interesting guy, good talker, very engaging, but you never would have known that if you just watched his main roster stuff. Also, I'm happy too see any interview where someone shits on Alex Jones and Enzo Amore in a ten minute time frame. Really fun interview, and, yeah, this could have easily gone two hours.

Aiden English beat AJ Styles for the WWE Title in my 2K17 Universe mode. And it wasn't even, like, a simulated match. I watched Aiden pin the fucking guy.

I never knew Simon was so, i don't if this is the right word... but perceptive and realistic, NOT THAT I EXPECTED HIM NOT TO BE, but so many guys have some level of inflated ego/sense of self. He was very realistic and perceptive of everything he said in both bigging himself up and saying where he himself or others cut himself short. LIstening to him talk he comes off as a very down to earth, relateable, smart guy.

To be honest I have listened to two of Simon's interviews and if they brought him back I would cheer for him even if his character was free
